@@hugorezende199 it's not a joke. When I used to watch him on Instagram, initially, I always used to see just his incredibly fast feet. Any other time I saw him, he was making coffee lol so that was one way to describe him, for those who might not know.

If you'd watch the video you'd hear Stan saying he cares about him. IN THIS VERY VIDEO. You might not care about him but he's an inspirational person for a lot of drummers out there and drumeo is out there not just to teach but to most importantly inspire!

He once said on instagram that he kind developed the taste of two-stroke drum bass playing punk rock and that's amazing! Most people don't even recognise but punk rock has an insane school of amazing drummers... Derrick Plourde, Bomer Manzullo, Dave Raun, Erik Sandin and so many more.

Amazing talent, Stan and Drumeo thank you. I use both techniques heel toe and slide but my slide is not up to scratch. Been practicing the singles and doubles exercise you shared with us and it is quality. Im really enjoying it.
Im glad you guys got stan on here hes a really strong performer. Also another really great guy you guys should get on the show is justin scott his flow is so incredible his instagram to check him out is jscottdrummer i belive. I really hope you guys can get him on. Cheers! And great video by the way!
What I really need are exercises for my foot without a pedal/drumkit. like just sitting on my throne in my appartement without annoying my annoying neighbors :(
here in Mexico there's a company that makes practise pads and they're quite amazing, check the ones for the drum pedal. The name is Dorado - Practise Pads check them out.
Thanks for the video. However you forgot to include one note in your notation of the first groove. It's the 8th bar and you've left out the last double (4 e)
9 months later: Thank you so much. This improved my speed and technique massively. I can play stuff I couldn't even touch with singles before!
That kit sounds incredible
Pearl power

Jacob Wright I think this is the only place to listen to it. I can't find it anywhere
Fall3n Vandals I think you’re right..

Kwame Tweneboah thanks. I watched the entire vídeo after and they explained that haha.
He should better talk about the technique not placement within the beat.
The Practice/Repetition Mindset he talks about is gold.
In my opinion this is probably one of the best foot development videos I have seen. I'll bet this full course is awesome !!!!!
YES, I am so glad you guys got Stan out to the studio, this is great! Thank you for everything you guys do at Drumeo.
So great to see a guy I watched from a while back and now he is here. Amazing
Kit sounds great. One of the best sounds on the channel!

Can we already get Tomas Haake on drumeo? PLEASE it's been years, everyone's waiting for him
Nobody cares about fkn Tomas Haake anymore. You only care about Bleed from a drummers point of view

Describing long practice sessions of patterns & rudiments on pad & kit as therapeutic & meditative is perfect 🖖🏼

Finally got around to watching this. Very eloquently explained. Thanks so much for this!!!
Thank you for this learning step, Thank you Drumeo
There's something going on in New Zealand with drumming, Jamie St Merat is another great example of this phenomena.
Jesus Contreras and Stevie Cat jnr 🥝
What an amazing snare
I'm greatly inspired by Tomas Haake! So it's always awesome seeing him being an Inspiration to other amazing drummers! 🤘🖤
New Zealands own Stan Bicknell ladies and gentlemen 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
love this dude.. took the advise.. helped 3 times over.
Beautiful syncopated .. then use double shots, they are beautiful to hear ... congratulations. 👌👏👏👏
Put this on the list of great pedal players like Larnell Lewis, Nicko MC brain, John Blackwell and Eric Moore
Nicko is a real delight ,he is quite the character.

Idk if its my headphones or the sound engineer but the mix sounds fantastic in this vid
Atheon, Time's Conflux they did a fantastic job with the audio. Up there with Eric Moore’s kit mix.

Great video, great drummer! Love his kick and his foot work fast attack excellent attitude!
Such a nice dude...thanks for sharing, guys
28:34 HOW IS HE DOING THAT
This is not heal-toe, this is the slide technique.
Very clean Slide technique strokes
Check out George Kollias and be ready to have your jaw touch the floor...
Andy Witch Nahh Kollias is great but he cant touch this guy when it comes to strong single pedal playing
That is easy. Slide your feat. You can train that skill quickly
Holy crap! I'm going to have to watch this a few times
AAaaaaahhhhhh finally..
Thanks guys
Another amazing one foot drummer is Nicko Mac'Brain Iron Maidon, just listen to Somewhere in Time
