- This is an Ultra Nightmare run without upgrades.
My last run used the health upgrade (obligatory argent cell) and I died at the Spider Mastermind with my pistol in my hand due to insufficient ammo. I chose ammo this time, it makes a huge difference.
Some of my own strategies and some borrowed are in this playthrough.
My previous failed attempts were because of mostly accidental rocket suicides and pinkies (or mistakes from fear of pinkies lol)
EDIT: This was before that ninja patch where enemies especially imps have SIGNIFICANTLY buffed projectile tracking. It makes for a miserable time doing UNNO runs now......
Nice job; it's a shame this hasn't received more views! Have you completed UNNU post ninja patch?
dec1Bel718 yes, there is the more stylistic and aggressive version with glory kills on my other video and its post AI buff patch.
This play is relatively tame compared to the new one.
This guy is a maniac. Well done!
Amazing run. Watched the whole thing in one sitting. I recently finished a no upgrade run of regular Nightmare and this puts that to shame lol
I really appreciate your item management throughout the entire run. Staying stocked up on armour so your health rarely takes a hit. Your knowledge of all the encounters is great too and it was really interesting to see that way you handled some of them.
0JoeButton0 It's worth doing Ultra Nightmare for the gaming experience, your first time making it very far is probably the most adrenaline rushing feeling you can get from a game.
The main things you just have to watch out for are pinkies, shield soldiers and sneaky cacodemons.
The AI in post patch tracks your movements though, including pouncing enemies to note before attempting to do a run.
10 hp with the spider after 3 hours of luck; man, your pants were full of crap that moment for sure !
6:48 perfect micspam material
I dont even wanna know how many tousands of hours did you spent practising xD
Dude how did you do this at 80 FOV. Good job though!
