Thanks for making this video. I got this CEL today and the exact same thing happened to me! I thought it couldn't be this easy, sure enough I guess the rail road tracks I went over knocked mine loose.
You helped save our family trip this weekend, and evacuation plans for the coming hurricane! Thank you so much for this video!

Who would have thunk it! The P0113 code popped up on my 2016 wrangler. While over researching the issue I came across your video. I would have discovered the sensor unplugged but probably not until I purchased a new one and went to install it. Keep up the good work and thank you

I like that G-Shock GWS5600. I was holding my breath when you reached for the sensor while wearing it.

This exact same thing happened to me yesterday after flooring it. Very timely, thanks! I was surprised how loosely that connector fits.

Lol I don’t think the air blew the plug out. Most likely the engine probably torqued to one side when you gunned it and pulled the connection apart. Check to see if you can make the wire longer buy cutting a zip tie .........

I have a 2012 wrangler. If I turn on off my key 3 times, not starting engine!!! It’ll read you the code on the dash

I got the same P 0113 by doing the self diagnostic test (turning the key on and off fast three times brings up the code on the instrument display of my 2014 JK)--
Hmmmm... temperature sensor... easy enuff to get to that... let's see what RUclips will tell me about it.
............. Sacrebleu!...... What's This !!???... my sensor wire came loose too... !
    Easiest fix ever.......

I watched Lite Brite's video just before this one and of the two I would take your issues any day over a blown motor.

The engine light came on my 2016 Jeep Cherokee yesterday. I checked the gas cap and it’s correctly on, but the light still on.

i have the same problem and when i plug it back in, it keeps falling out again after driving, so probably the connector or the sensor either one of them has its small locking thingy worn off and needs changing. anyone had the same problem? if the connector was the problem being worn off and unable to fit tightly and lock, can i just change the connector or do i have to change the whole wiring harness ?

Flashing CEL is usually misfire. It's something that should be looked at soon. Not sure why no codes ... It's probably o2 sensors or spark plugs... Just a guess
