Your patreon and duty tune video have brought me into the realm of 1911 hand fitting. It brings a whole new level of reliability out of this platform. Thanks.
I just renewed my top tier (Charlie) on Patreon for another year...You should join, money VERY well spent!! Invaluable training, and the class builds are amazing..even though I rarely get to view live due to my hectic work schedule. But Hilton saves the videos and keeps them posted for some time so you can review them later. You also have the ability to message a question and he will promptly answer. I was also fortunate enough to attend his 1911 Armorers course and the detailed one on one instruction was outstanding!! Can't wait for more classes! His 1911, and Glock accessories are top notch and I buy them from his site regularly when tinkering on pistols. Thank you Hilton!!
Hilton thank you for all the knowledge from your fantastic content! Looking forward to great 10-8 stuff in 2023! Wising you a flourishing business year ahead!
Looking forward to the shooting topics. Always interesting in hearing from guys who have experience in competition but also in real world. Products wise I think some 2011 base pads in different colors would be very cool.
Please look at the Sig P210 C. LOVE MINE. Unique trigger and grip. Very reliable all kinds of ammo. Accurate big time for me. Really would love to see deep dive.
I carry a Colt Combat Unit, 1911 in .45ACP with Colt Magazines in good condition. Can you recommend a brand of good Ball Ammo? This Ammo runs the best through the Gun. Don Blake
Any 1911 grip safety for a .250" radius will work. However, keep in mind that the factory unit was gunsmith fit and hand blended to match the frame, then finished in the black PVD. You could have any grip safety fit, but it'd require all that fitting, blending, then full frame refinish.
@@williamstringer2846 No, they're not a custom shop. Keep in mind that the application of that finish alone will be several hundred dollars, and a proper blending of a grip safety also similar expense. You'll need to find a specialty custom shop.

Love your insite into the 1911 universe.
Great video. I need to do some catching up on some missed episode, and thank you for your info on a starter 1911. I want to get back into 1911s.

Sad really was interested in training in person but i understand might sign up for patreon have a good Christmas
I hope you get a CS for review soon.
Big fan of your Staccato mag release. A 'carry-sized' magwell for Staccato C2 would be nice.
Do you have any plans to develop a recoil spring plug and guide for staccato c2? Or is the factory recoil master setup not worth replacing?
Thanks
Factory is what you want to use
@@108Performance shame, but I understand. I am not a fan of the dual recoil spring, but it does work.
New to 2011s what are the benefits of the plugs?
What’s going on when 1911s don’t go back into battery? I see that happen quite a lot with newer guns. Just need breakin?
More prodigy products, I already bought 2 slide stops from you for both mine.
Great content 👍🔫🇺🇸

Have you had any experience with Bul Armory pistols? Any thoughts or opinions on their 1911s / 2011s?
Imported pistols with all MIM small parts, non standard double stack mags, and no direct aftermarket support.
Sounds like you’re not a fan lol. How about the Masterpiece Arms DS9?
For recreation, buy whatever you like. For duty/carry, this channel covers my recommendations.
Understood, my mistake
@@mco8061 never a mistake to ask questions.
Hilton, do you know of a better beaver tail safety for a Staccato P?

@@108Performance thank you Hilton. Is that something that Staccato could possibly do?

Do you have plans to review the Staccato CS when it comes out?
Yes
Have you done anything in the AR15 side of the house or plan too?
Parts? No and no. Some videos, yes.
Do you/ would you still carry a gov’t 1911?
Thanks!!!!!!!!!!
So ur learning how to hand file parts??
