What's really cool is that everything you mentioned would be things I would miss in Michigan too if I were to move away! Michigan pretty much has all of that except the mountains (at least the taller mountains which Virginia has). Cider mills are the best! I haven't been to any in Virginia, but the ones in Michigan have really good apple cider as well as donuts. Although almost all my friends are not in Michigan, I have a lot of family here which would be really sad to move away from. One advantage about having a few things you miss about home while living in Amsterdam is that you will always have something to look forward to when making a visit to your hometown!
@@aWanderlustForLife I grew up mostly in Michigan. My parents left Maryland in 1980. If youve never seen Michigan I would visit in the Fall. I left Michigan in 1998. Nearly as long as both places combined. As the saying goes, what goes around comes around😄
Shenandoah valley is vastly under-rated as a tourist destination. Beautiful country!
Agreed! Buuuuut the interstate is busy enough so let's keep the secret 😋
Wow, Jessica indeed Virginia looks so great, love the Mountains don't see them in Amsterdam! 😅👍
😁👍
It's such a big thing I miss! But it's so beautiful here in a different way ☺️

That lazy bit resonates so deeply! There's always a reason to go back 🤗 And thanks for joining the live stream!
Virginia looks beautiful. I live in California, cali is also my birthstate, but grew up in Maryland and Michigan.
You grew up with so many amazing landscapes!
