Charming old radio play...so much better than the modern ones. Loved the recording of primary school children singing....reminded me of being a student in a primary school in the 50s and 60s!
I was gripped by the excellence of the writing, acting and production, and the pace (gentle is definitely the word) was quite charming. I was waiting for my imagined sting in the tail, but it didn't come. Evocative and full of character... a lovely play to enjoy. Thank you!
