I have a 1994 1500 and i really like the way you did this and kept the rear suspension, will probably be doing something similar with mine. Nice job man.
Absolutely the best bubf I've ever seen! curious on the rear fender work/purchase as well as where you found the shortened rear shocks. Parts for these bikes ate virtually impossible to find now.
+Craig Dillon Thank you very much... the fender is off of a honda vt1100. I used the front half of the fender instead of the rear spoiler/brake light section here is a link of one on ebay, sometimes you can pick them up for 10-15 bucks www.ebay.com/itm/1993-Honda-VT1100C-VT1100-Shadow-rear-fender-/291365620316?hash=item43d6be8a5c&vxp=mtr
Love the bike! Great job!! Was wondering what the little filter looking thing is on the side of the motor next to the carbs is and where you got it? Thanks in advance!!!
hey ! cool bike i would like to eliminate the case-air outside chrome ears,as well can you please tell me what exactly did you do it? what do the filters look like under the tank? thanks
I am about to purchase an 89 Vn 1500A and would i plan on making a bobber of it any info on how too remove the emission stuff and where to get under tank air filters would be very helpful dude ,,wicked nice job by the way
Would love to talk about the bike. Ie... Where u got the headlight and what all I need to do to eliminate the emissions on mine. I already have k&n air filters under the tank but want to clean up the look mine is very customized also
I go over the full build here... www.vulcanforums.com/forums/16-vulcan-1500/95057-custom-kawasaki-vn1500-build-thread.html the breather I just used a small universal air filter from autozone or oreillys, the coasters can be bought on ebay, I built my own, and I built an intake that tucks under the tank. Hope that helps
No fender rub at all, they are cheap ebay 10 3/4 inch shocks... 11 inch progressives would be fine I would think. I didn't just chop the fender, I cut it in half and used the rear portion, ditched all the seat mechanisms and brackets.
Sorry about never responding guys. Thanks for the compliments. Headlight is from Kapsco moto. I would have liked for it to be metal but it was a budget build. Ebay has some nice billet ones with that look.
That Vulcan is PERFECTION
This is by far the coolest Vulcan 1500 I've seen.
That sounds incredible.
Dude...VERY sweet! I've got a 96, and would love to have it look and sound like yours. VERY nicely done.
Absolutely the dream. Amazing job brother

Can you please give a list of the mods you made and/or links to a source? I would like to get my the same headlight. Nice build btw.
What kind of air filter did you use?
That headlight looks like it's off of a Honda VTX I have a 95 looking for ideas I might do my rear fender like yours
Can you send the link for the headlight
seen ya done the ear shave, didya rejet it also?
Awesome job! Doesn't eliminating the turn signals make it illegal?
It's probably old enough you wouldnt get hassled much as long as you use hand signals
@@williamwebster9153 In some states it is legal to not have turn signals, but yes, you have to use hand signals in order to be legal.
Would love to talk about the bike. Ie... Where u got the headlight and what all I need to do to eliminate the emissions on mine. I already have k&n air filters under the tank but want to clean up the look mine is very customized also
you get anywhere with the headlight?
Feel free to call. My name is William. 843-714-978six
Where’d you get the seat
How did you do the breather for the crank case and what coasters did you use on install? How do you eliminate the air filter baffles?

Tommy Phillips thank you
With the original twin air filters on the sides, what did you use for block offs, what new filter is that on the right side?
amazing
thanks, i should have put a link up to my full build thread earlier... Here is 12 pages of my step by step process.
raptor660fam where did you get that headlight?
Badass brah
I'm in the process of chopping tons of stuff off of my 98. Do you ever get a fender rub with the lower shocks? are those 11 inch progressives?
No fender rub at all, they are cheap ebay 10 3/4 inch shocks... 11 inch progressives would be fine I would think. I didn't just chop the fender, I cut it in half and used the rear portion, ditched all the seat mechanisms and brackets.
raptor660fam you wouldn't happen to have a part number or a link for those shocks? I appreciate the help. My winter project is shaping up!!
here is the full build thread www.vulcanforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=95057
What kind of gauges are you using
Do you think the headlight you have on will for my Vulcan 800b Classic ?
Jose Compean it is a universal light so with a little fab work it will. I am putting the same one on a victory that I'm building right now
Sorry about never responding guys. Thanks for the compliments. Headlight is from Kapsco moto. I would have liked for it to be metal but it was a budget build. Ebay has some nice billet ones with that look.
Hey Thomas, what size lowering shock is that on the rear
Where can I find that exhaust? I would really like to have it on my 95
Cameron Jackson I made that exhaust myself, it's just a straight pipe slip on that I powdercoated.
beautiful
where did you get the wheels?
Those are stock Vulcan wheels
are those stock tires you're using? would a 240 fat tire fit in the vulcan 1500?
mark tan they are not stock but I don't think anything more than a 170 180 would fit without some major modding
nice...
