- CNN International Diplomatic Editor Nic Robertson reports from North London, where the wife and two daughters of a BBC journalist were killed. Police say they captured the suspect inside this cemetery. The man was seen leaving the site of the deaths, carrying a crossbow.

This is an extraordinarily horrific event. The police captured him without a shot fired and he should face justice. The US right to bear arms, in Britain we see as creating a trigger happy society, where guns are used and abused disproportionately to the event. We do know knife crime is a problem in Britain with young people especially.

USA with millions of guns had over 630 mass shootings last year.
