I consider Hashirama the founder but what your describing is actually Tobirama. Tobirama is the one who actually started and implemented the system for the village. In the episode you can also hear him talking about creating rules and avoiding conflict.
idk why I'm just realizing this but there were lots of sub-themes within themes in Naruto that I never gave them proper credit, Madara talking about never knowing who someone truly is inside is the kind of thing I've been living by (not in an extreme way obviously) recently so it's just crazy how subconsciously I've been adopting philosophies from anime my entire life, I really respect these kinds of works that can shape you up as a person, pretty inspiring
Tobirama might have his problems but he was very smart regarding the whole vengeance thing. Shinobis shouldnt act based on emotions, if someone killed a friend or family on the battlefield then thats that, you should accept you also killed people and move on. Which is why they have a rule not to express emotions but at the end they're just humans and Naruto tackled that aspect in its first arc
@@rajpritamkashyap7487 How naruto (the show) tackled the no emotions vs being human? The Zabuza arc, where they talk about ninjas being just tools, but even the most rutless one ended up having very strong emotions
These are my favorite, specially as Madara being my fav character in all anime, this arc/flashback or what you call it and the 'sage/rabbit princess' (tried to not spoil the name, I think Lindsey doenst read comments but still) one are really cool, but I got a little disappointed with the character animation/drawing on the second one, Madara & Hashirama was drawn beautifully and the story.. they complement eachother so well
Love this backstory it shows the ravages of War and how it effects the young ones. It show's why they fought so hard and formed so many Jutsu for survival for the lose of their loves ones.
Hashirama may have been the founder of the leaf, but Tobirama was the true creator of it. Even as a child he was thinking about making laws and order so that everybody can be can safe and maintain peace.
I always loved these episodes, I really enjoy seeing those too being great friends and the journey to building the village, makes me wish things worked out differently but then alas we wouldn't have our great story of Naruto
when hashirama was explaining his dream of the leaf village really pulls my heart strings, and when they revealed thats where the village was built i was like woww
its crazy how every naruto sasuke parallel is has a better friendship and more believable bond than them hashirama and madaras friendship is so believable
1:26 The reason Madara's stone isn't skipping is because he's using Shuriken Justu, while Hashirama's just trying to skip stones. Wrong technique for the given objective.
I wonder what would Hashirama's dad say if he was reanimated into a world where all shinobi are allies. And what would Madara's dad say seeing his son going against whole world xD
Hmm it's interesting how they said that they would assign shinobi to missions that fit their abilities meanwhile naruto had a mission were they had to fight zabuza, fought orichimaru all as a kid..
They did not know about Zabuza. The bridge builder did not have enough money to get an A rank mission, so he lied about it. About orochimaru, I am pretty sure that they had no official missions in which he had to fight him.
I mean, same could be said about Madara’s father as well. It was an era of ill trusted people and no one trusted the opposite side. I mean, the other side is willing to kill an eight year old so seeing your son talking to another preteen that could’ve possibly killed your son or a friends son is some scary sh1t.
@@bryangonzales4198 its not scary, its nessasary. its war. a helpless kid one minute, and the kid stabs u with a knife the next. only a bloody fool would show mercy in war. whether its man, woman, or child

Madara and his brother were fighting and killing people before tobirama got involved. And when tobirama did kill izuna it wasn’t as if it was in cold blood, they were in a war and were both fighting for their lives, tobirama just happened to be the stronger of the two and therefore killed his opponent. Which believe it or not is what your supposed to do in a WAR. SOMETHING MADARA TRIED (and failed) TO DO TO HASHIRAMA MANY TIMES. So stop with this villianisation of tobirama bullshit.
I lime how tobirama fans are always like you cant really blame him for hating uchiha like madara didnt lose three brothers before the age of 12 and the hid last one got killed by tobirama
The stone skipping competition becomes so serious they end up throwing meteors
lmaoo💀
tobirama is so obsessed with the uchihas he himself developed red eyes that reflect his heart.
no lol
Young Hashirama pulling off that bowl cut like a boss. I swear all bowl cuts in Naruto are fking bosses.
The bowlcut red beast is coming 🔥🔥

Hashirama was an absolute troll. haha. So messed up that their clans came in between their friendship.
Two random kids who became the GOATS of the shinobi world. 🐐🐐

Btw madara's weakness which is standing behind him while he's peeing is also a huge foreshadowing (hashirama used it against him after that)
