I like your videos. I am an American living in Canada for the last 33 years . We donot have the same stores but appreciate your hacks. Love than napkin ring support for your designs boards. thanks again.
Love your ideas. I love to make scrap quilts. I bought a library card catalog for for fat quarter, jelly rolls, rotary cutters, and small rulers. The handles have a place for a card. I organized by color and placed a card with color of fabric that's in each drawer. Everything stays clean and looks beautiful 😍. Now when I get ready to make a block...I pull out the drawer and take to my cutting table. Has saved me hours
Rebecca, I love this idea! Such an amazing way to store your fabric! It is such a great way to make your fabric accessible !! That is so important when quilting!!!! Thank you so much for sharing!!!! Wish I had one!!! Plus I love antiques!!!!
Thanks Connie! I just pulled out my quilt and I am going to look at all the options all of you have mentioned!!! I am so excited to try some of these I had not thought of!!!!
Love your cabinet with the sliding door! You hammered home "A place for everything and everything in its place." Space management is like time management. You have to have a system, and you have to develop the habits to work within the system and do periodic housekeeping--as you so aptly note. David Allen's "Getting Things Done" is a system that I adopted as it appealed to my work preferences over other systems. Nothing is such a time burner as trying to find something (fabric, tools, rulers, glasses) (Labeling folders (as it was a work based system not crafting!) was central to creating an easy index).
Thank you for sharing! I totally agree!! Hunting for lost/misplaced items is a huge waste of time!!! Plus you usually create more of a mess as you are searching!! I will have to take a look at the resource you shared! Thanks for sharing!
I have used black as a binding before and I know what you mean by making colors pop. I hadn’t thought of it but I will audition it! Great idea! I agree with using white as a binding

Good video!! I love you!!💕💕
Thanks Wes!🥰
A scrappy binding would be pretty
I have used scrappy bindings before and they look nice and help use up scraps!
Never going to get rid of my vintage sewing machines. They are treasures!
Yes! I am not sure my Singer is vintage but I have my mothers and I will definitely keep hers!

The heart quilt is pretty. I think I would do pink or red.

Red binding. Thank you for sharing your tips.
I do like the red binding!
Make a scrappy binding with your let over sc4aps!
I have done that and it makes beautiful bindings!!!
The red with white dots in your cupboard would be nice.
Wow! Another awesome idea I had not thought of!!! I will audition it!!!
A red binding! I follow your guidelines all but the labeling! Staying organized saves time!
Sandra, the labeling has made a huge difference for me in staying organized!
I’d do a pink stripe binding from the fabric in the heart quilt. Thanks for the tips.
That’s a great idea!! I do not have any more of the stripe though.
Pink!
Thank you for your input!
Thank you for your input!
P. S. Consider black print (dots/checks) as an alternative for your binding.
I will add that to my list of fabrics to audition! I just got my quilt out to check out the great ideas all of you have shared!!!
Hi Michelle. What about that red checked that I see in your fabric stash for your binding?
I will check out the red check! Good eye! I hadn’t thought of it!
Where did you get your barn door cabinets? Love them!
I got them several years ago at Walmart! They work out great in my quilt room!
Pink
Thank you for responding!!
Black would make the colours pop. Red will be lost and white is dangerous as a binding as it picks up every bit of dirt
