I'm surprised to find such a recent interview with Guy because my memory of him in Terrafirma 4 about 25 years ago just came to me out of the blue so I decided to see if I could find him. I actually had no idea how accomplished he is because I only knew him from that old video! It's strange that I thought of him after all these years but I'm glad I did!
Guy is an epic person, he would pass lapped riders off the trail in the bush so as not to ruin their race, so fast! It is awesome to see him doing well and rippin no doubt!!

I bought a KTM 400 from guy in 2001 Shane watts showed up for a fundraiser to raise money for the guy to get to six days my bike was brand new Shane was the champion and I got to ride on his wheel with about 80 guys behind me for a few Kms I started laughing so hard I couldn’t stop laughing and rode off the trail into the ditch and everyone went past me ! Truly one of my best memories of my life thanks for teaching me everything I know about offloading Guy ,,, how to ride up cut slash and all the tricks,,, a ride with the big man Peace on dirt my brother!
Pretty awesome pod. I remember working at Taylor Cycle in Sudbury Ontario, I played all the kranked, terrafirma and North Shore extreme videos on the shop TV. Customers would stand for a long time n get right Into the video, followed by I need a freeride bike. Tequila tonight, Tomorrow we ride jokes were every time we went for beers after the rides. Good old memories
One of my favourite Guy Perrette stories was he was riding down the gap which is a trail he made with his father Guy Al Perrette the GAP ,,SO on his dirtbike with the engine shut off he came up to a corner where some mountain bikers were doing some trail maintenance and they flagged him down and said hey what are you doing on this mountain bike trail with that dirtbike this trail was built by Guy Perrette and he would not Appreciate you riding that dirtbike here guy responded by saying oh well next time you see Guy ,,,,tell him I say hello and he coasted off down the hill. Lol
Where is the DEER VIDEO?! I've seen this years ago and cannot find it online. Is it in one of the Terrafirma videos? Got to party with Guy one night at the Desert 100 in Odessa, WA back around 2001ish.. Awesome dude!!

Guy disappeared for a long time not being in any films or showing he's being active. Last film he was in was Throttle 2003.
