LOL, this song brings up so many memories post great recession as many of us were just struggling. That pursuit of happiness just meant being stable. I worked as a cook at a restaurant, and many of us were college graduates who couldn't find work in our chosen fields at least not at that time. So at one point on a hard ass saturday night shift, I broke into signing this, and we all started singing it, it was cool as it helped pass the time, but it kinda was a ballad for our generation.
