We had so much less technology growing up (in the 70s and 80s) , but I could name all the artists from my parents' and grandparents' eras, if not the songs they sang. Still, it's awesome to see today's younger generation still love the music that I grew up with. Wonderful reaction to Bobby Brown! He was a huge artist, and his music brings back great memories. Bobby brown played a big part in getting radio stations to play rap. Before his songs they would omit the rap breaks on r&b songs and call it the "radio edit." The man literally integrated r&b and hiphop in the mainstream. He paved the way for all the r&b bad boys of the 90s.

He was apart of New Edition and then went solo. All of them are super talented. Bobby was so popular in 1989-1990 with this album then had 2 songs in the original Ghostbusters II movie.

OK, Bobby Brown, had this album ‘Don’t Be Cruel’ on cassette tape. Listening to this, playing pool in the pool hall above The Red Lion Pub, Leytonstone, London. E11, 1989! Love to see JayV enjoying this tune! ❤️ 👍

It’s good to see the classic hits still hit a new generation the same as when it first released! I Enjoy watching you jam out to music that the new generation may never discover. Great job!

Love your reaction choices. Hadn't heard that in years. I owned this on a 12 inch vinyl single. Played it to death. Incredibly infectious.

80's R&B was so good! Others have mentioned some good stuff. I'd love to see you react to Al B. Sure - Off On Your Own. Also The Deele - Two Occasions.

The running man, Roger Rabbit, Biz Markie...so much nostalgia with all the old school dance moves! ‘Don’t Be Cruel’ was the first single off this album and I also like ‘On Our Own’ , his single for the Ghostbusters II movie.
