I think Bobby Brown is one of the most underrated artists of our generation. Unfortunately his bad boy reputation and his marriage to Whitney Houston seemed to overshadow his talent. Can you react to Roni? I think it really shows his vocal skills!❤
I can't believe I forgot about Roni. Great song. And totally agree about his talent overshadowed by his behavior. And it just got worse and and more tragic.
I think Bobby forgot how talented he was for a while. He let the worlds love of Whitney make him forget they loved him too. At some point the two got in each other’s way career wise and then in their own way.
The girls are wearing the 80s classic little black dress. My closet was black full of them. Plus a short bolero blazer with big shoulder pads and ofcourse the boots or flat pointy shoes.
Bobby Brown was in New Edition. the album that this song is from (don't be cruel) was his 2nd solo album and was the 7th biggest selling album of the 80's. its a classic and was around the beginning of the new jack swing era.

The man has had such a tragic life. But a great talent! He worked with Teddy Riley who produced Michael Jackson's album Dangerous (partially) .
It's less tragic. It is and was the drugs. He ruined himself, Whitney, and his entire family. It was tragic for the other three. HE was tragic for them.
Whitney was responsible for her own actions! She was doing cocaine long before her and Bobby got together; and he was into weed and alcohol before her! If anything, they got hooked on crack (or whatever) together and went downhill together! Don’t try to put all her misfortune onto him (and whoever else) like she was some angel who did no wrong! Those were choices that SHE made.

Bobby was great!!! FUN FACT: He had that "slope hairstyle" because his Barbers clippers slipped and shaved off half his hair. But he just kept it like that. LOL
Bobby Brown was a bad, bad boy. He got himself in trouble with the law over some of his antics on stage (among other things). But he sure put out some good songs!

his whole first album is one of the best rnb albums of all time
It was Bobby's use of drugs that brought him down, NOT his marriage. Whitney was a good thing for him and he brought her down with the drug use.
