I agree! This series really gets down the brother interactions which is what fans really want to see, especially in episodic shows (though it’s a hybrid episodic/serialized). Just dynamics. Though one thing I don’t like is that Leo can be hard to distinguish. I feel like they casted the other 3 brothers on how they fit the role while Leo was just “BEN SCHWARTZ!!!” Ben is an amazing actor (Jean Ralphio forever! And Dewey & Sonic are fun), but lancer Leo doesn’t really fit those roles 100%. Ofc Ben doesn’t have to play the same character but they wrote this Leo around those other characters he played. I see a lot of Dewey and some Sonic in Leo. I like the idea of Lancer Leo being adventurous (like Dewey) and insecure and the new role dynamic shows better in slightly serious moments. But other times I feel like he sounds too similar to Donnie or this Leo would say lines that Mikey would’ve said in other iterations (or even in this iteration). I feel like the overcompensating confidence should’ve just went to either Donnie or Leo (not both) while the other one could’ve been more doubtful. Though I will admit in 2012 version, both were inquisitive and doubtful so is this a counter to that? I guess haha. I like having Leo be a back burner support character though. I think they could’ve made his “leader” traits more pronounced but not overshadowing Raph. Make Leo the “ideas” guy more often or make him less impulsive. I feel like he’s so impulsive here but in serious episodes he isn’t. If they need an impulsive character, it’s Mikey (which he does do, but sometimes Leo does something oddly impulsive and I’m like… that’s not what this Leo or any other Leo would do!)

I love how despite the fact that they’re completely different in so so many ways, they’re both equally sassy and sarcastic. Also the fact that they have such good sibling chemistry with one another. Like they genuinely look like twins most the time.
I think Hypno made the trap specifically for Donnie. He knew Donnie would have the best chance of figuring out something was wrong and thinking them out of the illusion, so he made it to appeal to Donnie's tastes and keep him too grooved to question it. He just figured the others were too stupid to figure it out on their own.
Same for example when I'm at the store and something groovy starts playing, or I'm jamming to my music on my headphones I just GO IN. Thats why my sister and brother hates taking me to the store with them 😂😂☠️☠️

Well I mean, they’re both autistic so not too far from being the same; however, it’s important to consider every autistic person is different from the spaces between their brain lobes to their kind of personality, like while Dr. Shawn speaks with a monotone voice, Donnie’s is articulate. On the other hand, both struggle to verbally express/talk about their emotions and feelings when it’s difficult for another to interpret them physically; I’m autistic myself and I have a hard time verbally expressing my feelings, so I theorize that’s a trait many autistic people share in common
