Sitting in the corner is the smart thing to do as you don't know where the intruder(s) are and how many there are. You can't clear a building by yourself. Sitting in a strategically smart position and calling 911 (the people you pay to clear your house, whether you like it or not), and waiting for them to come is the smart idea. You have nothing to gain by going on the offensive that is worth risking your life. If you have kids in a different room or something, then getting to them is a priority, but going beyond that is reckless. Even if you have a spouse or roommates with cameras covering every inch of your house, it still isn't wise to play those odds. As to whether or not the noise was an intruder, having a pre set gameplan with all occupants of the household should have already been done and you should already know everyone's routines. Another reason why having cameras can be helpful as the more information you can get from a safe place and as fast as you can, the better.
From someone who does this for a living… this is absolutely atrocious advice unless you have family in other areas of the house. If not… stay put, call 911, and watch your door. There is a reason we don’t just run in on barricaded suspects.
Bro, new setup is dope!
We should do a collab. You can showcase your home defense statagy with a pov camera.

When seconds count, the police are just minutes away.
@@tacticaldenpodcast minutes don't matter as you aren't fighting for your life. You are prepared to defend.
