Nicely done, however, and I say this with respect and caring as a biomedical researcher and educator, you should not assume your audience is all Christian, or interject your religious beliefs (Jesus is the most important person) into a scientific talk, especially a TEDx talk.

Considering that Jesus is probably one of, if not the most dealt about person, even if just indirectly, in art, literature, science, etc. (not only in the western world) we can surely assume he’s that important. I mean even religions other than Christianity talk about him… and the vast! majority are positive and honorary remarks.
