Considering that the redundant crew were selected among others due to their file and perfomance, in your opinion, how will the airlines companies assess these candidates now? In other words, every laid-off crew has some drawbacks on their files and I'm wondering how they are going to choose who comes back and who doesn't. I totally understand you don't have an official answer for that, of course, but I would really appreciate your opinion here. I believe you have more than enough experience on the aviation industry and some very powerful insights. TIA

In this case, the Airline is going to look at something called "Cabin Crew productivity level". When we speak about productivity level, from a Manpower planing system point of view (again, this topic is also elaborated in a youtube video here) the HR team will look at: on time reporting, sick absence, customer complaints, crew conflicts, cabin crew assessments and training knowledge performance, compliance with the airline policies and regulations, the grooming standards etc. There are also other parameters, but these are the once that will determinate the performance level into two categories and those will be: satisfactory, or unsatisfactory.

Bro just check out the life at Qatar Airways video from QR itself. It's like 40 minutes. But you'll see some many crew with minor to major imperfections there. I'm guessing they got in solely on the basis of their personality. There was one Bangladeshi guy with a noticeable mark on his forehead and he'd been working there for 3 years. So I'd say it doesn't matter much. Just be smart.

The reason you do not get invitation is that Government restrictions are still in place due to the Covid pandemic and that the frequency of flight is not as high to meet the demand for flying. The September wave is prognosed to be high. I suggest that you wait. You have applied once. I do not think you wont get response.
