He's said himself: he has to switch genres constantly to keep himself interested after this long in the game. He even said he pisses off his own fans, but he has to do it for himself. He still does hip hop...and everything else. The master.
Every set has some preparation behind it. Not every song sounds good after one another just because its the same bpm. You gotta know this broo. and besides i think craze has proved himself enough!
dj craze has talent and business wise he transitions to different styles which is money. good shit. DJ craze and klever i think are hidden gems. turntable or cdj make me and my girls booty move. RAVE
@glenjamn2 Craze will never sell out, notice he plays shit that's dope right now, but he stays true to his turntablism roots (using traktor vinyls instead of serato discs, scratching, not using the screen to beatmatch)...Craze (alongside Roc Raida) he's the best DJ ever
@alekscee Craze is a turntablist first and a DJ second...also one of the nicest dudes ive met...earlier that night i met him in person and had a chat with him in Encino CA...right before he got in his car and left to the Avalon...he had a total of 3 shows that day!...talk about working hard...but at the gig he did at Primitve in Encino...he fucking rocked it...scratched like crazy..and was nice enough to let other random ppl jump on and show off....keep in mind hes a 4X WORLD DMC champion
Sure you can say that. Most musik produced live on the MPC is driven by a beat (kick, snare etc.), while most house and dance musik is more about the synth and vocal these days. You could produce some house musik on the MPC by having a bunch of long synth samples. Or simply the entire synth beat recorded for each sequence, like doing a known song before hand and then remixing it live.
God people also understand the context of this, its a massive dance/electro event. Full credit to him for being able to kill it with many different genres, if he was booked for his hip hop/scratch type set that is what he would play, people have to relax.
the drop is from this track /watch?v=7K1uUW6VSDE it is joke's on you. the buildup is all about by don rimini and after that he drops the congorock remix of one
