Они так коряво катались,что у специалистов волосы дыбом вставали. Ведь танцы это троеборье. Конечно,Дин великий фигурист и хореограф первоклассный,но не смог он из своей будущей жены слепить звезду. А «Лоуренс Аравийский» в стиле модерн шикарно исполнен в Софии,где Марина и Сергей в четвёртый раз стали чемпионами Европы. А в Мюнхене увы! Но как феникс из пепла в Альбервиле возродились Марина и Сергей. Что даже Кристофер признал,что они очень хорошие чемпионы.
agree, Duchesnays are not skilful skaters this performance was sloppy withmistakes and i venture to say this routine is more show skatingthan ice dancing
Maybe too many lifts? Personally I love this programme. At the very least the choreography is truly inspired. Granted it is not “lyrical” like previous programmes but it is not rough either.
I would have given Usova and Zhulin gold here. The French are too rough and the female on the female on the French team is too weak (skating skills). I think Klimoa and Ponomarenko would not have been in third had they not lost the confidence due to the drug scandal which they were the victims of as Klimova was innocent but such is life and history.
To me they were always wonderful technicians with great artistic prowess... but alas, they were caught here trying to be like the Duschenays, but did not quite get there. They could not bring the crowd to the rapture that the Duschenays could.

The Dueshenays were fleeting KP were great for quite a while

this routines was superior to the two free programs the Duchesnays had in 1991. not everything Dean choreographs is gold
