For those who do not know, the song is about the town of Tula, which manufactures auto-boilers (_samovary_) in peacetime and firearms (_samopaly_) in wartime.

Samopal is a self-made ersatz firearm. Samovar was a nickname for a Maxim machinegun due to the water boiling in the barrel cooling system.

I love the Red Army Choir! They can go from singing a serious, patriotic and soulful tune to the most joyous and silly of folk music to a sad and moving piece so easily! They are truly some of the greatest musical talents to grace this planet of ours.

    Part 2 of Samovars
    Refrain:
    Oh, military samovar, friend,
Your fiercely boiling water is too hot!
    Military samovars
    Provide unheard-of fever
    What outstanding samovars!
    Military samovars
    Provide unheard-of fever
    What outstanding samovars!
Tula’s tea is not sweet completely
    For unbidden guests -
In any case of the using of sugar
    It burns to bones.
    Tea is served with poultice
And with a hot sugar candy,
    Samovars of Tula’s trademark
    Provide fever and lead [2].

  • @TheTorward
    @TheTorward 11 лет назад +11

    Припев:
    Ой, горяч в тебе кипяточек,
    Самовар-самопал, дружочек!
    Пышут жаром небывалым
    Самовары-самопалы,
    Вот так самовары!
    Тульский чай совсем не сладкий
    Для непрошеных гостей -
    И вприкуску, и внакладку
    Прожигает до костей.
    Подается чай с припаркой
    И горячим леденцом,
    Самовары тульской марки
    Пышут жаром и свинцом.

    Never die
    Glory of Tula smiths -
    Samrvary-samopaly
    Contrived for the fighters.
    In this tricky samovar
    Crane custom combat:
A mile of the enemy scald
    Kipyatochek fire!
    Chorus:
    Oh, you hot in kipyatochek,
    Samovar samopal, dearie!
    Pyshut unprecedented fervor
    Samovar-samopaly,
    That's samovars!
    Tula is not sweet tea
    For uninvited guests -
And a bit of sugar, and superimposed
    Burns to the skin.
Tea is served with a poultice
    And hot candy,
    Tula samovars brand
    Pyshut heat and lead.
    Chorus.
    We all encounter bandits
    Battle of habit
    And ......... strong tea
    And the water of fire.
    Gets straight to the point,
    If lightning runs
    Enemy drunk boiling water -
    Immediately lies dead!
    Chorus.
If the enemy wants war -
Put bluntly, the enemy was gone:
    Zahlopochet, zaklokochet
    Samovar-samopal.
    From such a samovar
    Will cover the Whites,
    For such samovars -
    Honor and glory of Tula!

wat. This song is about the city of Tula, famous for its production of Samovars, which produced Submachineguns for the red army during WW2, the samopaly in the song. It dates to the great patriotic war, not the soviet afghan war.

It dates Soviet-Finish war, song was released in 1940 and not performed in early WW2 cause it is too optimistic and it will be performed only on January 21, 1942 and will be broadcasted on the radio (which greatly surprised the author, who was traveling on the train at the time and heard his song).

    Самрвары-самопалы
    Смастерили для бойцов.
    В этом хитром самоваре
    Кран особый, боевой:
    За версту врага ошпарит

    Repeat refrain.
    We meet all the bandits
According a good old combat tradition:
We meet them and with Kremlin’s strong tea,
    And with fiercely boiling water.
    It hits exactly the mark,
    Like lightning beats.
If enemy will drink some fiercely boiling water
He will be dead right away.

    Repeat refrain.
If an enemy will want a war
So it is possible to say that he will perish,
    Because our military samovar
    Will begin to seethe.
Such a military samovar will provide
The giant stream of fiercely boiling water.
    Hail and glory
    To the Tula’s master
    For such samovars!

      Nikogda ne umirala
      Slava tul'skih kuznecov, -
      Samovary-samopaly
      Smasterili dlja bojcov.
      V jetom hitrom samovare
      Kran osobyj, boevoj:
      Za verstu vragov oshparit--
      Kipjatochek ognevoj!--
      Pripev:
      Oj, gorjach v tebe kipjatochek,
      Samovar-samopal, druzhochek!
      Pyshut zharom nebyvalym
      Samovary-samopaly,
      Vot tak samovary!
      Tul'skij chaj sovsem ne sladkij
      Dlja neproshenyh gostej -
      I vprikusku, i vnakladku
      Prozhigaet do kostej.
      Podaetsja chaj s priparkoj
      I gorjachim ledencom,
      Samovary tul'skoj marki--
      Pyshut zharom i svincom--
      Pripev:
      Oj, gorjach v tebe kipjatochek,
      Samovar-samopal, druzhochek!
      Pyshut zharom nebyvalym
      Samovary-samopaly,
      Vot tak samovary!
      Esli vrag vojny zahochet -
      Stanem v stroj - i star, i mal.
      Zahlopochet, zaklokochet
      Samovarchik-samopal!
      Ugostim, kak ugoshhali,
      My vodicej ognevoj,
      My borot'sja ne ustali,--
V boj hodit' nam ne vpervoj!--
      Pripev (h2)
      Oj, gorjach v tebe kipjatochek,
      Samovar-samopal, druzhochek!
      Pyshut zharom nebyvalym
      Samovary-samopaly,
      Vot tak samovary!

Samovars are such same as Turkish Semaver. I cannot say who stole but I just know that they passed away from caucasus to Russia or Turkey cos the Northeastern Anatolia is most tea producer on Turkey and they like drinkin it.

Semaverin kökeni Rusçaya dayanıyor , o yüzden semaver diyoruz zaten . Pek olmayınca Rusça kelime garipsiyor insan tabi
