Lake LA-4-200 Buccaneer & LA-270T Renegade Takeoff

This video features a few unique seaplanes spotted at CZNL in Nelson, British Columbia, Canada. You can see a Lake LA-4-200 Buccaneer N6207V taxiing and taking off, a Lake LA-270T Renegade N110W taxi and takeoff and a quick shot of a Lake LA-250 Renegade N6YZ taxiing and climbing out in the distance. Great video! There was a LA-4-200 Buccaneer for sale at my local airport for a few months that I was interested in, but things didn't work out. It would be a great plane to have around here in WI though.

They are tricky to fly like you add power and the nose goes down because the wide open prop pushes the tail down?Is that right!

The first one sounds like a lawnmower to my ears… do these have different engines? All I see is that one has 3 rotorblates, while the other one has 2 only. Great footage! thx

Yes, I believe they all have different engines. The first was a Buccaneer (a little smaller) and the other was a Renegade Turbo.
