As a beginning wire wrapper, your reminder at 12:30 on this video to not become frustrated because this is fun...So very important. thank you for that.
I made my first ring tonight and I’m loving it! I bought my wire about 15 years ago and have been hesitant to try it. Your encouragement to just start put me in motion! Thank you for sharing your wonderful talent!
Hi Matt, I'm up right now. Thank you!!!!I'm on board. Today is my first day. You encourage me soooo much. Bought my step ring mandrel,6bucks acmoore. God is faithful and I will pay it forward
This is my favorite video. I have watched it about 100 times whilst making my 100 rings. Starting my next 100 tomorrow. You explained so well on this one. Thank you!
That’s the first time I have seen a ring created, I am impressed, it looks simplistic, I think I could give it a go. Well done 👍 and thank you for sharing 😁
Okay now , not only are your videos incredible with how you explain the process with your imagination too but you just had me gut laughing so hard esp with your buff jokes etc! I don't think I've laughed that hard in ages! Your work is amazing , of course, too! Thank you! 😂😂😂😂😀🌞
Amazing !!!!!!!!!!!!! Beautiful. I have to tell you, listening to you I feel like I could do most anything. thank you for the confidence. You are a wonderful Teacher. so glad i found your Channel. :) :)
Hi Matt!! Awesome tutorial!! I learned so much from you. I always forget about my german style wire. I even have it in patterns. I have a rotating vise that clamps to my table which I use to hold my ring mandrel when making rings. It makes it so much easier. Thanks so much for sharing your tips and tricks! 🖒🖒🖒👏👏💜💜 much love and hugs to you!! Melissa Doucette from Florida
You just gave me a really good idea - After watching your "Chunky Funky Rings" Video, I started working on them. There are a few that I am less-than-satisfied with. Now that you mention taking another piece of wire and improving them, it makes a lot of sense. I have one Labradorite ring that I'm very happy with, so I can use that as a source of embellishment for the others. There are some other pieces that I want to re-do, pendants in particular. Thanks, as always!!
ruzy is the glittering effect of tiny crystals over top a colorful mineral. It is beautiful when used in making jewelry. One of the perks to druzy stones is that they are not as expensive as big faceted gemstones and they have sparkle and great color and it can be cut into various shapes with ease.
Since I am from Germany originally, my favorite part was when you used the German silver wire. Where do you purchase it, what brand is it and do you drill the holes in stones you use yourself? Lots of questions today. Love your work!
Thanks Car- men, I don't know the origin of the name German silver. I just know the company that supplies my wire told me it was a mixture of 3 metals and was non-tarnish like stainless steel so it never needs to be polished and will never turn other colors.
Oh my goodness...you are so cotten-picken comical! You've got me crakin' up over here sir! lol ;-)) Wonderful video and thank you for taking the time to produce the review. Very much appreciated.
This is the only stepped one I've been able to find lately. www.amazon.com/SE-JT-SP6-Indexing-Stepping-Mandrel/dp/B00819DXM4/ref=mp_s_a_1_fkmr1_1?keywords=plastic+stepped+ring+mandrel+for+jewelry+making&qid=1557278611&s=gateway&sr=8-1-fkmr1
Beautiful fun ideas. Can you tell me if these wires you used will tarnish the flesh? Btw your a blast to watch. I never get bored or feel the need to fast forward.
Matt! I don’t know if you read posts from these older videos or not but I need to know if you have any answers or pointers. I cannot bend this wire to look good at all, my ring look terrible. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Kathy
I work with one hand and can't find a stepped mandrel anywhere. Any tips for working one-handed? I've already made the ear cuff. Getting better, managed a wire spider but wanna try these rings.
Leopard1inSC, everywhere. Strands of stones or beads are at almost every art or craft store and if you prder online, make sure the picture shows a hole or a string going through the stone. Adding the word "bead" in your description usually ensures there's a hole. "Caboshons" typically do NOT have holes.
I could watch you wrap and tell me to relax and have fun all day! It makes me feel better.
As a beginning wire wrapper, your reminder at 12:30 on this video to not become frustrated because this is fun...So very important. thank you for that.
