@@HotHouseWest Yes, loved that song as a little boy, later realized that it was the great Louis Prima, and all that stuff, early musical experiences, like the beatles and the rockabilly guys from the fifties, the fantastic western swing and bluegrass roots, the great rythm n blues songs from the 40 s. Music is living history and bring together people. By the way. I love that special brand of sound, you are creating, a nice little time maschine, always fine to listen to your songs. By the way: I love that song "Slap that bass" in the version from Harry Roy and his orchestra, recorded in London 1937 with the great Arthur Calkin at the big bulffiddle, such a great swing number,,, maybe something for you?🤩As I said before, all the best, lookin forward to things to come, herzliche Grüsse from sunny northern Germany🍀

Could you record it again in a version where we hear the woman singer and the chorus singers as predominantly as we hear the guy singer? As is, it feels less like a big band and more "The Guy Singer" accompanied by a band. My two cents.
We’re definitely learning a lot about how to capture live sound! We learned a lot making this one, there will be more to come!
This was recorded Live! Sounds really good for live recording to me!
