She should try her level best to fullfil her husband desires and the husband should also understand her situation. But still if the husband still feels strong sexual desires he should marry another woman who can fullfil her obligations towards him. He should meanwhile stay away from Haraam.

I don't understand you reply sister. If a man uses his position to mistreat a women then how do u justify disobedience. What the sister is merely asking is give a chapter or verse that speaks of disobedience and how to deal with oppression. How can a women obey a man who does not honour his wife

@@aishahshaikh8463 This is talking about rebelliousness. The word used in the Quran is rebellious. It means if she is constantly yelling, slamming doors and just doing whatever she wants etc. But this only works if the husband is giving rights to the wife. He has to fully provide for u and his children. He has to give u a separate accommodation (apart from joint family) if u want and he has to treat u with kindness. After all these things then, he has the right to stop his wife if she is rebellious. You have the full right to demand ur rights from him and if he doesn't listen then, tell him that u will file a divorce. If he still doesn't listen then, go to the court and take divorce. A wife is not a slave to her husband. If u need any other help then,u can ask.

What has your husband done? Explain from your side as well. Is he a practicing Muslim? Is he providing for you accommodation and putting food on the table? Is he staying away from Haraam things? If yes and then if he finds you disobedient then yes he has the right to divorce you. If he is not a practicing Muslim and if you are not a practicing Muslim either then you two need a couple therapy from Sheikh Assim Al Hakeem.
