Hey janelle what made you decide to start painting pebbles? Loved the ones u showed us in this videp

@@fionagalbraith5590 it started by tracing around the shapes in the paint blobs. It's purely an exercise in mindfulness. Beginning by painting washes of watercolor. Then tracing whatever shapes emerge, then adding highlights and low lights. It could as easily be trees, clouds, shrubs, flowers, animals, faces...just whatever emerges. It will change from rocks to something else over time.

@@Jeanelle_Art it just makes me think it's something I could do with real rocks for in my garden. I'm fascinated with the whole process. Do you have a video that shows the whole process from start to finished results? I need visual clues.

@@fionagalbraith5590 I'm working on that, not a tutorial because that's not my bag, but I do have plans for an upcoming live stream that will show a condensed version. I really appreciate your questions and suggestions, Fiona ❤️

@@Jeanelle_Art even a condensed version would be good and I'd love to see how you used the polymers clay to create those egg shaped shakers. A gf of mine makes little pixie and angle style babies with polymers. Clay but she is so creative. ATM she's making newborn babies, which are so lifelike that my son's car window was broken by passersby who thought the baby had been abandoned in the car while parents were in the shops. I couldn't help but laugh as he's telling me how he literally had to show the cop who turned up that it WAS A DOLL NOT A BABY OFFICER!

@@fionagalbraith5590 well, they're egg shaped because they're actual eggs. A blown out egg shell is covered with the remainder pieces of canes. You might have noticed the designs are a bit blobby, that's because the ends of canes get distorted and they're not attractive as beads. But the clay is still good and so I apply thin pieces to the dried hen eggs and cure the clay. There's a tiny hole so the gasses can escape. A few grains of rice are dropped into the egg shell to create shakers. If you're wondering why?! It's because there are a few egg collectors in the family, the more beautiful specimens are now off collecting dust in their curio cabinets.
