Wow got emotional watching. The reality is there is no premiership without Nick. He transformed us like no player ive ever seen. Anything is possible in 2024 with him in our team.
When Whisper had his break in his kneecap I went to bed and cried and when we won 2 of our last 5 games I thought the curse had struck again but we persevered and my dream came true We won the flag Thanks Nick and the boys you made my life completely golden
Thanks that brought back all the agony and the ecstasy of the past few years with the culmination of winning the 23 GF and Nick's career unfolding so brilliantly 👏 😀❤
55 Games in and already a documentary on a player who looks to go down as one of the all time Greats. It goes without saying thay Nick Daicos is a tremendous talent and with exceptional work ethic, drive and commitment to excellence that are second to none. Great Documentary too! Well put together and very informative 🎉
Excellent video Anthony. I know how time consuming it is to put these together so I take mu hat off to you. One of the hardest parts is finding all the segments and as such you have done really well I suspect that would have taken weeks. Players like Nick don't come along very often, thank goodness he plays for the Pies.
Thanks Stephen! I appreciate you putting time aside in your day to watch the video! I love that passage of the interview from Pendles. It was such a pivotal moment that he talks to in the clutches of the final minutes of the granny!
Great vid mate, very well put together. Can you make one that covers the entire team throughout 2022 and 2023? Would watch that on repeat until our next premiership Haha
I was never quite as disenfranchised about Collingwood as I was in 2021 and losing our legend Bucks from the helm. But wow, Fly coming in and the changes that went on at the pies turned us around so quickly. Most of the time, in close games, often after being behind at 3/4 time, never expected to win. We competed hard but went out in the finals in 2022, it was almost expected. We won games all the way through 2023, often unconvincing again, including all of the finals, including the Grand Final. Wait... Grand Final? We won a bloody flag. It's often hard to reflect and realise that we won a flag, I still pinch myself. This year, again, adversity. 3 Losses in a row, expectations are low for the Pies. A draw on Anzac day, a little deflating. But hang on, beat Carlton in a close one, them being the team with all the expectations. Are we going to once again, surprise? With Fly at the helm and Moore our captain, with the Daicos brothers on the park and our never say die attitude, I think we might just surprise once again. Brilliant video Anthony, really enjoyed watching this and seeing what a legend our young Nick Daicos already is. Can't wait to see how the rest of his career unfolds.
Thanks so much for taking the time to watch the video! What a turnaround it has been for the Collingwood army since 2021. Can't wait to see what the future has for us!
We can certainly make the 8 & with hard work, a bit of luck & the army as the 19th man on the ground, top 4 is not out of the question. I believe we have more than a good shot at another GF & another GF win Go mighty Pies ◼◻💪
Hey the doc, thanks for watching! it means a lot! you are right in saying he did his ACL, but that wasn't until the off season. during the finals, he strained his MCL initially.
Look I don’t want to come across as greedy but how good would it have been had Peter managed to produce a couple more sons. They couldn’t have helped but be good.
I’ve thought the same. What about if Peter Moore sired more sons as well. Maybe there needs to be a Collingwood breeding program where current players are given incentives to produce more kids. Even Fly has said he wished Peter Daicos had another son.
well you might think it started when he was drafted but i think it started Round 4 1979 when his father Peter played his first game for Collingwood. By the way there was some talk trying to compare Nicks first game to Peters first game (they both debuted against St Kilda and they said Nick had more possessions in his first game but what they didnt say was that on Nick's debut Collingwood beat St.Kilda by 17 points but on Peters debut Collingwood won by 178 points. curiously Peter who was well known for his accuracy kicking 13.1 against Brisbane and often kicking 6 or 7 goals with just 1 or 2 points but on his debut he kicked 0.4 (4 behinds) how could you not mention Peter Daicos as a small forward in our 1990 premiership season as a relatively short forward kicked 97 goals
To think that Nick or (disco) as I like to call him because he dances around his opponents and has all the moves, was in his mothers womb when the pies lost to the lions and then to play 20yrs later and beat them. Dont like the nickname whisper as it dont suit him. There is nothing quiet about him on the field. When he goes near the ball the stadium takes note. Melbourne and May will be getting some attention in a few weeks about what May said after the premiership last year saying melb were a better team than them. I bet the pies are on the warming rack with that game.
Verry biast documentry didnt hear anything about the truth here that the umpires where wearing black and white and the lions got robbed but who cares about that was over 14 months ago Brisbane are premiers the truth came out when brisbane held up the cup this year and the Hot Pies got verry verry cold quickly freezing out of the competition and the team that got robbed that day went all the way and held up the premiership credit to collingwood they did have a good year why nack when.

Thank you for watching :) I was hoping people could draw on some emotions while watching the doco!

It wasn't looking good for a number of weeks. but that is sport and life in general. lots of bad, and some good, but that's what makes us!
Thank you for this wonderful documentary - much appreciated!
I was honoured to be able to create this!
I follow north but this was a great mini doco,, so good it bought a tear to my eyes.
Well done.
Thanks Dorian! that means a lot. I am glad you could immerse yourself and ride through the waves of emotions.
A wonderfully put together overview of a person who will be a superstar for the next 10 years for the pies!
Thanks Brashy! I appreciate the kind words!
We should have a look at Parker Heatley son of Jason for the mid 24 draft only 20 kicking goals great mark in EFL league Ringwood east
Thanks that brought back all the agony and the ecstasy of the past few years with the culmination of winning the 23 GF and Nick's career unfolding so brilliantly 👏 😀❤
Thanks Didi! it was a pleasure putting this together and riding the rollercoaster of emotions.

Great Video/Doco

🖤🤍 What a vid!!

What a goal from Steele!!
never forget that goal! 55 metres out after nearly 4 quarters of grand final intensity. Defies fatigue.
Excellent work. Loved it!
Thank you! Cheers!
Great job Anthony - enjoying your work on my lunch break! The Pendles interview / description gold!

Great video bro, keep up the quality content! (pendlebury doco next?)
Thanks mate! ill look at doing a poll between a few players and see what they say!
Yes please. Pendles would have to be top 3 in our greatest players of all time. Not enough superlatives to describe him.
Awesome work Anthony, good video 😊
Thanks so much Jade!! I hope you're well!
Brilliant Video. Subscribed immediately.
Thanks for the kind words! Welcome to the community!

Thanks Tasty!!
Love this ! 🖤🤍

Thanks so much :)
Awesome job. Must have taken you some time to do this. Go pies and thank you
Thanks for the support! It took a while! Go pies!!

great video sir
Thanks Gerard!
Great documentary but one thing I picked up on is that mcstay tore his acl not a strain
Hey the doc, thanks for watching! it means a lot! you are right in saying he did his ACL, but that wasn't until the off season. during the finals, he strained his MCL initially.
@@PiesFooty yeah your right sorry
Such a nice doco
Thanks so much! I appreciate it and I am so glad you enjoyed it! I LOVED putting it together.
Great vid. What would the final score be in a 2010 pies v 2023 pies game? I think 2023 by 4 goals
Thanks Tetris!! Ohhh that's a tough one. 2010 pies were a VERY young side. I think it would still be close. maybe 2023 by a goal or two!
Great video bro, to me Pendelbury is the greatest player to play for the club but Nick could surpass him in 10 + years
Thanks Bernard! Nick is trending very well so far!!
@@PiesFooty im sure this Bernard would be happy 😂😂😂😂
Able to run off any tag, Alex Neal Bullen and Finn Maginness has entered the chat
Still had a game high 7 clearances against the Dees in three quarters. Kicked a goal, and a goal assist. not bad I say.
Great stuff...but it's Nick Daicos's story!
Good video ciccio
Ayy fratello! thanks :))

could've gifted us with a couple more! hahaha

this is basically the amazingalexap carlton fan alt account next video idea make a sam walsh or charlie curnow documentary if collingwood lose to deez

Thanks for the info, Edward! I'll be sure to consider this piece of data when talking about them in the future.
The perfect man
Indeed!
I’m glad a struggling club like Collingwood was able to have exclusive rights to the best young talent in the game. Really evens out the competition
wah wah wah
Had to fast forward Dan...
yeah mate. ill never forget the shit that he enforced on us during those times.
