That's what we were hoping :) we have some great ideas coming so keep your eyes peeled for it 😊 thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment, Miriam xx
Love this......need to get down to St Leonards for a HMHB! The 1st gen BMW Minis are just so good, nothing that's come since has bettered them IMHO. I think the combination of shed-tons of MG Rover influence/development mixed with BMW parts and built....it just hit the nail perfectly. For sure, they need caring for....lots to go wrong, particularly now they are getting on but if you look after them well and dont drive them to the moon and back they can be (relatively) reliable and affordable to run. Having wanted an R50/R53 when they were new, but bad timing (Uni and lots of debt) meant it was off the cards......many years later I picked up a cheap 2005 BRG Cooper with JCW R105's as a 2nd runaround and immediately I was hooked. The R50 is a cracking car and still heaps of fun but the opportunity to buy a very late facelift, super condition R53, 80k miles, full history and factory LSD down the road from me...a car that I had coveted for some time just six weeks later....was an opportunity too good to miss! It's not been without its troubles but I'm getting it towards being A1 now, with a view of keeping it mostly standard and hoping it'll end up becoming a good investment in the coming years.......the exhaust was rot tho so did take the opportunity to stick a nice little Milltek no res cat back on it 👍 Keep up the good work Mim, enjoy your videos!
Thank you so much for watching my video! HMHB was so so good!!! BRG is one of the colours I really really hope to have one day! Especially with a good spec! You are right, they do need looking after and they do like to surprise you but the way these drive and handle is second to none and I just love it! Keep me updated with your progress - send us pics on our Insta or Facebook, we love to reshare other people's cars to our followers as well our own :-) Miriam xx
We have just bought the DJI Osmo Pocket, really surprised at how good it is for the money! Man I would love to go to OZ! got family out there and never been! would be so nice to come do a meet one day! maybe when we have some more subscribers hahaha thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment. Miriam xx
@Ellie Basic Pretty sure it's the same down here. There is a Mini club I know you can join that is like $100 a year but offers cheaper servicing from Mini themselves.
It was a great little turn out :) as for the the electric Mini's, I'm still not sure about electric cars... I've read so many articles about how the batteries are made, how the national grid can't take it and bits that I'm still not sure on whether electric is the way forward... Now hydrogen... Thats the place to be! Hydrogen cars imo are the way forward! Miriam xx
Mod A Mini Garage true, sometimes they should ask what people want is good for the environment rather that assuming what approach to take. Fun Vlog👍🏼 keep em coming 🙏🏻
Mod A Mini Garage Just love them seats. Would love a set for my R53 but they’re soooooo expensive. I could by another Mini for the price. Actually. That’s not a bad idea 👍 x
Love it! Keep ‘em coming. It’s good to see some of the social scene as well as the oily bits.

Great job on the vid. Which camera are you using to record with? Seems like you all had a great time. Next meet in Australia, please?

@Ellie Basic Down south in Melbourne. Not many Mini clubs around here that I know of.
