I actually don’t hate these. I think they’re an improvement from last year’s jerseys. I find the red one with “Diamondbacks” across as my favorite. I think it’ll really stand out next year. Obviously we all want purple and teal back full time, but I don’t see that happening anytime soon. One of the reasons they changed to red is because Colorado has similar colors and are in our division (which I get). Anyway, if we’re sticking with red then I honestly think these could’ve been much worse. At least we don’t play with those weird dotted shoulder jerseys anymore 😂
Love the thought process for sure, and yes, the weird dark gray and dotted uniforms were hideous. I get that the Rockies have purple, but just about everyone else has red. That’s my biggest complaint ha.
I’m just glad they got rid of the D-BACKS jersey. A personal pet peeve of mine is when professional sports teams put a nickname or abbreviation on their jerseys.
I'm trying to be positive and just be grateful that they're not nearly as bad as the 2016 redesign which were horrid and just embarrassing. Those were like a 2/10 and I would rate these a 7/10. The teal is going to take some time to get used to but at least the uniforms have a unified and clean look. Simple yet unique. I actually dig the piping and I'm glad they finally dropped 'D-backs' and printed out the entire name.
Oh gosh! 2016 was rough, even though for no good reason I kinda liked the dark gray ones. I wasn’t totally against the “D-Backs” printed on the jerseys, but I will say that’s one of the upgrades of the redesign for sure! Go D-Backs!
I didn't really mind it either but I think it looks cooler to show off and embrace all the letters in 'Diamondbacks'. And they did it in a clean and simple way IMO.
The sand and sedona red was so good. Dont understand this rebrand at all. Black jersey is by far the best. A refresh without bringing back the dark road grays is a huge swing and a miss. Overall like the hats though. Theyre not awful. Red jersey went from being my favorite to #3
On the home jersey, the off white jersey, with the black piping is absolutely fuckin horrid. I'm sorry. Best uniforms in the league to this is such a swing and a miss. Keep the new black jerseys. Change the 2023 roads to dark gray, change the 2023 Sedona reds to the "Diamondbacks" logo, bring back the D logo on hats and call it a day.
I just wanted the '98 -'01 threads. I remember that replica world series ring stadium give away with the red replacing the purple. That front office boy.
I would have been in love with them for sure! Most fans would be. It’s very apparent because throughout the whole postseason the crowd wore 75% throwback colors haha
the pipin and neck linin is the best look in baseball we hadnit on all are unis last year now we just have it on the red makin it the best but for the rest now we just have the crappy pipin like every other team in it looks borin
No purple! The Rockies are the purple team in the division. To represent the state I would go with the copper and black with a sunset orange or red as the secondary color. If you want Purple have it only as a throwback once or twice a year.

I like the Red Diamondbacks.
Yeah, they are valid 👍
The tan/light gold with the Sedona red was a classic combo. Don’t know why they decided on teal and red they look like a neon Christmas decoration

So you didn’t like the PHX jerseys for the Suns either huh? I guess I never thought of it that way!
Yup, I also feel the same way about the Atlanta Falcons ATL jersey, the Carolina Hurricanes CANES jersey, and most mlb city connect jerseys
@@airsicklowlander7756 Okay, now what about the Serpientes uniforms?
Not a fan
Oh my goodness yes. Every time they change the uniform and it’s is not to go back to the early uniforms it is a disappointment.
Couldn’t agree more!

I think that they can't go back to purple because the Rockies who wear purple are in the same division

They should’ve brought purple back for sure.
That would be a dream 💭
We all want purple back but MLB doesn’t allow it just because the Rockies already have purple and their in the same Division
Which is a dumb reason
Yeah, it’s a weak reason! It doesn’t have to be our primary color! C’mon MLB, set us free!
Nike designed the jerseys not the actual team
@@ParedTheReactor Nike failed us for half of them 🙃
Once the mlb expands to 32 teams, the dbacks and rockies probably won’t be in the same division anymore lol
@@BOB_983 really? Why? They’re super close right??
The only reason it’s 300 is because that’s the game jersey with the patchws
You think it’s worth it still?
Different sport but so did the designers of the Miami Dolphins most recent logo and color scheme, terrible
I didn’t even pay attention to that until now! The only thing that saves them is that they have great colors. They made them more green?

Whaaaat! You want even more colors?
Love the analysis. Not a huge fan of the new jerseys. If they added purple that’d be fire 🔥
That would be a game changer!
