the main problem i have with her at 2 stars her first starpower feels realy weak. You can't play 2 units on turn one bc her deck has a lot of 2 cost units. and neeko realy relies on having a strong board presence. without 3 stars i get overwhelmed early quite a lot and with no removal i have a hard time coming back into the game.
That's why I try to pick up at least a few 1 cost units on the way. Playing a 2 cost + a 1 cost unit turn one is a big boost, can lead to early neeko lvl or just overwhelming the board
Agreed. You have a bunch of 2 costs you can play as 1 but then that’s it. Other than giving extra spell mana the next turn it feels pretty useless early game.
I personally like Galeforce because it allows you to hide Neeko into whatever subtypes you need to level her up and then double-up on her buffing capabilities on level 2. Plus you can choose a variety of units that spawn other units to mitigate the tempo loss and help block on off-turns.
Archangel+Counterplan+Stalker blade do work really well imo. Her spell do negate target spells+clearing one on board+plus stat(lv up) for free. Her only useful level is where your (2)dog has dragon subtype. Her 1-2 stars felt just okay but 3 stars were another dimension.
Sharing is caring power is super powerful if you can roll it, very easily can stack 5-6 impact on your whole board plus the champ spell will give a stack of impact to every one of your units when you cast it
Just want to add tip that we need to be careful with Demacia or Targon enemies (i.e Zoe, Mageseeker Inciter...) b'coz they have silence effect for your followers. That means disguised Neeko will become a vanilla minion if hit
Orb Neeko is so much fun! Especially if you can grab Memory Game.. can play her infinitely, basically playing her or her spell every turn until your list of equiped epic relics on all your cards is so long you cant see all of them hehe
Seems like there are many ways to build her, but she's really weak early. I definitely want to try out Gatebreaker / Bounty Hunter / Grand General's which seems like it will be her strongest build in theory, but there's also the option for a slower build with Guardian Orb, or even the Level up Rally / Stun Relics.
I'm running Corrupted Star Fragment + Succubus' Brand at the moment. They give Neeko enough durability, and the husks can help her other units last a bit longer. It also allows me to reliably trigger the Grave Companion's draw. It's also worth noting that Nidalee and Neeko are both performing poorly in PvP (even when excluding how they fair against the flood of siren's song decks), so they and/or their supporting cards may receive buffs in the next patch.
Lie in wait also gives your units the lurker subtype. Not sure if you knew this but forgot to mention it when you recommended that power but that's the main reason i pick it up
i do not own the reare relics that u mention iv been experimenting with corrupted star making neeko as big as possible to end games faster i tried galeforce i didn't like it as much any other alternatives that u can suggest?
Just grinding for wild fragments is really the only guaranteed way to star up anyone. Every once in a while you’ll get some champion fragments from battle passes or events but outside of that there seems to be no guaranteed way to get specific champion fragments. Do your dailies, do your weeklies, do the weekly adventures for relics that turn into a few wild if you have multiple copies etc.
Nice guide :D, sometimes when i play Neeko as Cunning Kitten it triggers his ability and sometimes don't, i know Riot says it doesn't trigger but happens
I can't confirm this, but I have a feeling it has something to do with whether or not she's played when discounted by the star power? it happens randomly for me playing her as that as well
I am personally finding Chemtech Duplicator to be better than Counterplan for all maps pre-Asol, for 2 star Neeko. I also find that Duelist and Enfeebling Strike Powers work well as she lacks direct removal Good video
Amazing guide as always! I wish they added something like "Poros summoned" to the Poro King like they did with Neeko for subtypes that attacked but still a great quality of life feature! 😅
Just to add, when Neeko is captured in disguised form, and you kill the captor, the released unit is not Neeko but the disguised one.😢

there are so many bugs in this release.
Sadly that is every release.
This deck especially seems to have the most of the newest three in my experience
So maybe it’s bugged for me but when disguising Neeko as Tufted Webspinner, it summons as a 3/1 without the Giant’s Belt :(

Iam so confused with this champion... I watched this video yet still do not understand how to play her or way she is good to play.

How would you feel about galeforce on her to get more bang for your buck with her level ability ?

Trifarian might combo with shapesplitter for removal is a neat idea. I haven't thought of that one, and she could always use some removal

A stat relic could be decent on her and there are 3 different ones so you should have at least one of those.
