OMG you don’t know how much I needed this guide, today is the last of the monthly challenge and I only have done the first have of it cuz I’m confused about what champ to pick for each challenge ty so much!
Absolutely loved this! I appreciate and thank you for all the work and dedication that went into this. I would like to see a spreadsheet or doc that has all this information as quick reference
Can i suggest something? I woud love if you make a "guide" for champions to unlock, maybe because they are strong, because of the relics or quests to progress legend level. im stuck with 20 champions maybe and play 5 straight days to get 20 shards suck sorry if are gramatical errors
Very nice review! I think this’ll help new players a lot. I agree with the vast majority of what you said, and appreciate you mentioning Veigar as a hard counter to Katarina. What surprised me: Nidalee not being up to 70. Tahm going up to 60 but Volibear to 50. Lux being rated a little low. All of these can be argued though. The only one I really disagree on is Sett. I think you sleeping hard on him. I think he can go up to 60 without much issues, especially with starforged.
Nice to see these guides as a newer player slowly increasing my poc collection (just unlocked the 3 star fights the other day after playing for close to a month now!) Fun idea for this next month, if you haven't done it already, would be something like a monthly challenge nuzlocke. There's obviously the stipulation of using a champ a max of 3 times, but on a self restriction of losing the rest of your tries with a champ if you lose a challenge with them. Idk if this idea has been capitalized on for PoC, but it seems perfect for monthly challenges!
Late response to my own comment. After watching him blow through February challenges, yeah 'nuzlocking' wouldn't be a challenge. Maybe adding some caveats, but eh. Just watching you play through is fun enough!
I don't think people who have access to epic relics need such guide, at least not as much as the others (who are also "most people"). It might be better to recommend non-epic setups for champions (I have only 2 epic relic and I can complete the 70 challenges (I completed it without them, as I only had "echoing spirit" until recently, when I got "Portal pals"). Also another good recommendation, on maximizing wild fragments: It's best to use them on any good champion you don't have at 2 stars, and 2 star them. Don't use them to 3 star champions unless you have them all in your roster already, because the 2nd star is the biggest power spike and the more champions you have the easier the challenge get. It's even impossible if you don't have enough of them.
Good video as always, however I think in the elder dragon, if you don't have the epic relic, you can consider using Star Forge Gauntlet for +1 mana, Hymn of Valor for the spell that double your stats, Chemtech Duplicator for double the spell you play when 6+ mana Elder dragon has a lots of way to cheat you to 6 mana, and by the time you play ED, you most likely has 6+ mana. The chemtech and the Hymm of Valor would simply quadruple your stats, and make the ED most likely instantly leveled up. When ED is leveled up, the enemy cannot stop him, so we don't need the overwhelm relic anymore
Lee Sin is pretty good with either Trick of the Light (Game Start: Both players summon an 0/10 Mirror Mage) or Recursion (When a player plays a spell, copy it with the same targets) Mirror Mage copies the Twin Disciplines and becomes a comfortable 14/18 immediately, levels Lee real quick.
If you survive long enough with Nami to use chemtech duplicator it's nearly impossible to lose. I've played lots of games with Nami where I was at or close to 1 HP and then I heal back to full health.
Jinx yasuo and asol are probably the strongest I never play Diana but those 3 are my aces especially yasuo i think his the best defensive and offensive champ in 1v1
This guide is truly awesome and the work you out into it really shows.. Kinda wish there was a spreadsheet to list this massive amount of information. Might do it myself if I find the time
as i dont even have half the champs this will help me get a bit higher then challenge 30 thank you :D gotta level all champs up before that tho cause i dont have even 1 on lvl 30
Focus on leveling up as many as possible to level 20 before trying for level 30, and try to use this week's 3.5 stars weekly, it gives you the most xp per battle. (also don't 3 star your champ with wild fragments, use them to get more champs, and to get them to 2 stars).
Im curious about 2 things: 1. Why do you always refer to yourself as "we", from what I've seen it is always only the person speaking. Are you like a team of multiple people? 2. Will you do a Samira vs Aurelion Sol run anytime soon? :D
I go for a different Ornn build. I use Disciple of Shadows, Overwhelm (Troll King's Crown, or epic one if you have it), and Crownguard Inheritence (rally on level). It's a nice one-two punch to end a game. Maybe you'll bump him up from the Weak strength if you try it that way. Alternatively, instead of overwhelm + rally, you use Galeforce and Corrupted Star Fragment, but then he has to be leveled before you attack with him to get full value
Last moth the was a challenge with "Round End: Kill all units but each player strongest". Ornn worked really well aginst that, since Ornns strongest unit is the one with the best weapon equipped, and you never lose that equipment. But I don't know if that can be replicated, maybe it was just one time luck
Bard is ok to pick into challenges where you just need to slow down the game. He's done well for me vs champions like caitlyn where they try to be aggressive and rely on flash bombs to thin out your board. In other words bard does well in challenges where you just need lots of big units to absorb poke damage. I'm fine using him for mid range challenges, but only if you have a build like Echoing spirit, starforged Gauntlets, and luminous orb, with this Bard becomes a solid champion of around Aatrox level. Also think Kayne deserves to be higher, I’m constantly using him on the most difficult challenges to negate oppressive powers, his units scale, and he has sustain. He’s bad vs Asol, but for monthlies Kayne is likely s tier, specifically because of modifiers like kill all damaged units.
I cooked up some counters with Nilah earlier in the month, since you were struggling to think of any, I'll add my new builds here: Loose canons+ ggc + lost chapter/ ludens: great build to just blow up the enemy board every turn (vs price of progress or arms race etc) Ggc + ludens: formidable Ggc: mercy killings (I was running with guardian orbs but it's flexible)
Just adding to nilah she can be picked into the hardest challenges with the correct builds and there are alot of viable builds. As for challenges that nilah specifically is strong into formidable and kill damaged units this is thanks to the abundance of ping damaged she is capable of the best Relic on her is GGC.
I play Annie with 2 dreadway chase guns and luden's tempest, and it is a menace. dealing 16 damage to the enemy nexus on turn one makes it very easy to finish the game with your other damaging spells and units. having any modifiers that increase spell damage makes it even more ridiculous.
Bard with the epic that creates copies of him into the deck + starforged gauntlet/luminous orb combo gives 9 chimes every turn starting turn 1 and having his champ spell cost 2 mana is insanely powerful
This video is so helpful! I will definitely be coming back to reference this a bunch.

I think Toast said he loses maybe 1 fight a month. He's very OP 😁

Ashe is the best champ to slap Irelia
Agreed
i love kayn too refunding health and powering up just defeats her purpose
Nasus as well

8:50 yep the modifiers were spot on.I used bard for challenge 65 this month, it was a flawless victory
We are talking here about 3 star + 30 lvl champs? Most of mine playable champs are 2 star and 15-25 lvl... Trying to get 40 wins this month, now 36😊
Yes, my account is maxed out so that is the only way I can really evaluate them.
Good luck!
Another friendly reminder to NOT PLAY JINX INTO A HARD TRYNDAMERE.

Spicy toast still best toast!
But remove galeforce...heuheu..:(
this one is absolute gold my man. you da real MVP 👍🥇💫👌🙌
neeko is also good for the "you start at 4 mana but you gain no more mana" mutator, if you dont have/ want to save samira
I could really use a google doc of these- they're so good!
Thank you for this insane video❤, amazing value!

With the upcoming shift to PoC (from Riot), I hope your channel gain more traction and become popular!
I was thinking this. Grap looks to be stubborn, Snnuy looks to be adaptive, but toast here, he'll be the next BIG LOR youtuber, and for good reason.

does this guide still work now with constellations?
In general, yes.

Gnar can be used as a slightly worse yasuo. Very good at preventing attacks
Nice one. Although i may only own half of these champs.
I feel like you should view it based on non epic relic & rare relic (like galeforce) because not everyone can have that.
52:35 Morgana is really bad against Ezriel and even worse against Ezreal
Thank you for this. I'll be referring to this video a lot for builds!
Gwen is great against "Kill all units and revive them".
Awesome content as always! Thanks for the guide!
Ashe and asol in one chapter
Thanks, I fixed it.
How strong is Jax without Galforce?
Still very strong
@@SpicyToastGaming really? I once tried Jax without Galforce on an level 48 stage, and didn't went so well
Is it me or monthly challenge is a bit harder every month ? 🤔
I think it is just you haha. I think this month and last month are easier than some of earlier monthly challenges.
@@SpicyToastGaming Are We sure stages are the same for every one? I dont know, just asking.

Bard you can use in bandle tree
If you want play along
Jax as well. I sometimes delay the win just so that in can watch the bandle tree anim
