Gurukula system | குருகுல கல்வி முறை | shishya living near or with the guru in the same house |

A gurukula or gurukulam was a type of education system in ancient India with shishya ('students' or 'disciples') living near or with the guru, in the same house.
குரு குலம்: இந்தியாவில் பண்டைய காலத்தில் கல்வி கற்றுத் தரும் குருவின் ஆசிரமத்தில் மாணவர்கள் தங்கி, குருவிற்கு பணிவிடைகள் செய்துகொண்டே, குருவின் அருகிலே இருந்து கல்வி பயிலும் இடமாகும்.
