MetaMask is a chrome browser extension for using the Ethereum blockchain in a normal browser. This video assumes a basic understanding of Ethereum, so you might want to get started by learning about that!

Looking for some advice. I bought ENJ coins back in the ICO over a year ago. I have them stored on metamask. I have a Nano Ledger S, Kracken, Atomic wallets. Just wondering how do I withdraw from metamask to any of these wallets or so I need another wallet?
You can send ENJ from MetaMask to either of the two wallets you mentioned. It looks like Kraken does not yet support ENJ. To transfer from MetaMask two either of those wallets you'll need:
1) The ENJ address you want to send to
2) A little bit of ETH to use as gas for sending the transaction

If you decide you want to send to Ledger, mycrypto.com is a really useful interface for connecting to your Ledger.
How to create ico contract ?
I have Google Chrome and the Brave browser. If I download the Metamask chrome extension, will that work on Brave as well? or do I need a separate Metamask download/account for Brave?
rivallin12 I think you can use the same wallet when entering the same passfrase as shown in the video. I don't know if it will work simultanioisly

An introduction to MetaMask
If your metamask account is stored locally (not sent to any servers) how does the seed phrase allow you restore all you accounts on a completely diff browser? Does it mean a diff browser on the same computer only?
The accounts are all generated from that seed phrase, using the BIP44 standard, as defined here: github.com/bitcoin/bips/blob/master/bip-0044.mediawiki

The coins are all "stored" on the blockchain itself, all over the world. They aren't locked up in a browser extension. All the extension does is give you a convenient interface for interacting with the blockchain. For any cryptocurrency account, two things are needed in order to access the funds: a public key (address), and a private key. In the case of MetaMask, and a number of other crypto tools/wallets, the private key is generated using a cryptographic algorithm (BIP44) that is "seeded" using a sequence of words. Whenever you feed the same seed words to the algorithm, it will always return the same private key - just like when you feed the number "2" into the expression "x + x", you will always get "4" as the result. Therefore, if you lose your private key, you can recreate it by plugging in the same seed words, thereby gaining access to your account.
Can't you just try a bunch of 12 words combination to gain access to random wallets if all that is needed is the seed word?
You sure could, but I am pretty sure your and my definition of 'a bunch' is a little different. Let's assume the seeds dictionary consists of 2000 words (which is rather conservative), then you would have a unique 2000^12 combinations. I am not sure as to how large the user base is currently, but you would need an extreme, incredible amount of luck to come up with a seed that is actually in use by somebody...
My metamask app is uninstall from device then I install again and fill the recovery phrase but not work its notify me invalid secret recovery phrase so how can recover my walled please help me.

In Matamask I see the acronyn "DEN" at the sign up screen "Encrypt your new DEN". What does "DEN" stand for?

C0LiDe All updates are automatic, you don’t have to do anything! Unless you’re on Opera, which is running an outdated version by their choice. Brave, Firefox, Chrome all update automatically.

How can I charge my services in Etherum?
Hi what happens if my laptop I have MM installed on gets stolen and the thief somehow breaks into my mac air? They can use MMask without password?
If your MetaMask is locked, they would need your password. If your computer has a password, they would need that password. If you don't keep a password on your computer, and you keep your MetaMask unlocked, then yes, they could use your MetaMask. We will be adding an optional log-out timer soon, to allow locking MetaMask when you are away.
Would it be possible to set self imposed daily limits on transaction sizes? ie. maybe I want to limit myself to daily max transfers of you ethereum (and if I want to change this limit, maybe I want a 3 day delay).

EOS is most likely flawed and works diffently than Ethereum. This might require a completely different extension

Morgan Tucker You still have the tokens. You just need to add them to your wallet view. Go to support.metamask.io for articles and a place where people are ready to help answer.

The original app for minds.com features connections to crypto currency, but Apple wants it run thru their own in-app purchase infrastructure, which makes it more expensive than on android, is harder to develop and is easier to compromise.

There are transaction fees to give an incentive to process transactioms. Those fees fluctuate frequently so it's hard to tell

Looks good but also need some way to interact with contracts on the blockchain.
Browser-solidity is a web based ide that supports publishing via metamask. Like that?
I am not a huge fan of the browser-solidity.
My point is that MetaMask allows arbitrary transaction signing, so you can publish contracts, submit transactions to contracts, basically anything you might think of as "interacting with a contract", can be done via web3-enabled websites. MetaMask may not have an IDE built into itself, but it allows any web developer to create their own IDE without worrying about account management or running a blockchain connection.

Just published a test contract on the Ethereum testnet. Return values from contract methods do not seem to be displayed? You get a lot of blockchain transaction information though.

Tokens is a word for something you can give out, and that people can have, like your own money. You first create a certain number, and at first you have them all, but when you give some away, then that number belongs to the person you gave them to, and only they can give them away.
Issuing a token is a common first experiment on Blockchains like Ethereum, probably because it reminds people of Bitcoin, the first blockchain.
Using this web app with MetaMask makes it easier than ever to create your first token, and that's what you see in the video.

Not a scam. Updating the plugin shouldn't have done anything to your balance. Try actually contacting the staff if you have a problem.

Sorry, any extension will close if you click outside of the popup. If you try again, and don't click outside the window, you might have better luck!
