I was watching _The Phantom Tollbooth_ and the characters called "The Lethargians" are like small versions of "The Greedy". Very well animated.

What you need to do is make a voice over for your character so it can talk even if you need to make grunting noises it would make it even cooler
Flipbooks take so much work and effort, this is incredible
