@@NelsonTreehouseSupply as your neighbor (snoqualmie valley resident) I have built lots of structures but not a treehouse, so this part is the most valuable for me. My 4 year old girls are going to love this when it’s done. I will be buying the TAB kits for sure. Thanks again guys!

I love how Pete Design the treehouses they build. Its a luxury treehouse, the detailed, design 2thumbs up. If I have enough money to build a treehouse for my family, definitely I will contact NT&S to build it for me. And btw, I missed the show and the NT&S family. I hope someday they’ll comeback and decided to do the show again that will be awesome. Stay healthy and safe Nelson Family. We love you... 👍🏼❤️

The "span charts" he mentions at 0:50....is there a go-to web resource for this info?

How are you attaching the joist/decking structure to the beams?

Will I use these same methods to build a larger tree house? I am considering building one to live in full time, which will be larger and probably much heavier than a child's tree house.

What size joist will I need for a 16x20?

do joist have to be pressure treated?

    • @Joel_E

If they are not pressure treated, they will rot much faster, and will be a safety hazard waiting to happen.

If you aren’t a structural engineer, I don’t recommend guessing on cantilevering. There are deck-building resources that offer guidance.
