So well! They look so good together
This was a great video, was for me the best way to conduct and demonstrate a product review, Tom great job good to see you back one the water. Again great video and a big thank you to Daiwa Australia 🇦🇺.
Glad you enjoyed it
This is what "Feel Alive" should be like. The best video intro, music, contents and awesome results at the end. This make me wants to get the SOL MQ right away. However your link to the SOL MQ Reel brought us to Exist instead.
Thanks for the heads up! Should be fixed now
One of the greatest videos so far 👌
Finally i got my TD black mq reel now. Thank you Daiwa
Thanks for your patience!

No worries. Got two 2500D and a early birthday gift from my daughter one 3000D. Thanks Daiwa Australia
Love this so much, flathead are such good fighters especially if you have a smooth reel like daiwa does. Flathed are the coolest small fish
Such a nice reel sooo sick🤙🤙🤙
Awsome video guys that was just great to watch.👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Another awesome video tommy. Love it.
We are trying to get out and do these vids as much as possible. The Pursuit Vol. 7 drops next week.
Love Daiwa !
Great video!!

When only the best will do Daiwa
How good is east gippsland 👌😍 ripper video and great looking reel 🤤
Best estuary fishing in Australia!
I’m can’t wait for the TD Tierra 😮💨
Tierra LT and the new Tierra Rods are already in stores around the country!
@@DaiwaAustralia really!?! I couldn’t find none online but will dig into it! Thanks
Banger video! When will the 22 td zero's release because i want to get one as soon as possible before the flatty season
Hello friend, the Daiwa shirt is size M or L, the one you usually wear. Greetings and a very good video.
Really enjoy your video just wondering what’s a plonk thank you
What sort of glue do you use for the bait junkies
bought 2 SOL 4000 MQs to go with my 2 Commander 762 HXS rods. casting big soft swim baits for giant flathead on the flats.
That sounds like an epic setup! Remember to tag us in your pics.
Okay a few things:
1. love long videos like this
2. love, love, the look of TD Sol reels, they are WAY up the top of my wishlist (actually I want a baitcaster first to show the kids some freshwater fishing, and a heavier reel for jews, but these are sexy AF)
3. I wonder if he piled all the stuff from the showcase the other week into his boot and buggered off fishing? I know I would. 🤣
Love the feedback on our long-form videos!!
🥰🥰🥰
Hey Tom, Is it gonna be a good reel for bream in that 2000s size? Will it cast like a rocket and have smooth enough drag that the fight is fun but I can skulldrag the bream if necessary?
Hi mate. Tom here, the SOL 2000S will be a great option for your bream fishing. Powerful enough to fish around structure but nice and compact & light
@@DaiwaAustraliacool mate I do need a pig extracting outfit as I fish the Blackwood river which is heavily timbered. Do you think there is better options in your range for under $400? Thanks 🤟
What Lb line are you using on those reels? Especially that 3000.
Had a taste of Daiwa recently and switching setups from Shimano to Daiwa🤘
10lb J-Braid Grand with 10-12lb leader for flathead!
That's awesome to hear
@@DaiwaAustralia Thankyou all the way from the Seychelles🇸🇨
Tom not a bad flatty dsiwa for life
Thanks Josh!
@@DaiwaAustralia thanks for tge reply tom the slater of light tackle fishing legend man
Hey guys in contemplating between this reel, the new td black or the caldia in the 3000. I want to be able to cast these lures and up to 20gram jigs. What would be my best choice here?
The sol is going to be a better reel with the nicer bearings with mag seal for longevity but any of those reels are going to work it just all depends on your budget and what you need it to do
As long as they are matched up with the right rod to be throwing 20 gram jigs then you won’t have a problem 👍🏼
Any of those will do the job really well, TD SOL will have a bit lighter rotation due to the ZAION rotor and 1pc Airbail. The Magseal line roller is a nice touch too.
Can't go wrong either way.
what model td zero
I’m getting a headache trying to ascertain the differences between reels. How does the TD Sol MQ compare to the 21 Saltist MQ? Almost identical pricing so what gives? Cheers!
TD SOL is made from Zaion V, Saltist is alloy body. So TD SOL will be a much lighter reel, 45g lighter to be exact.
Better suited to lots of cast and retrieve.
Saltist is a great workhorse for someone that probably is bait fishing more than lures.
@@tomslater574 thank you very much, Tom! I’m a lure fisherman so looks like I’ll be getting the TD Sol. Just about to head out now for a fish walking along the harbour foreshore. Cheers
I’m trying to decide between the 21 TD SOL III 4000 or the 19 Certate lt 4000 which one do you recommend
No doubt either choice would be great. Both use MQ body technology. Ultimately probably comes down to which balances the outfit better. Certate being aluminium body is a little heavier than TD SOL and might suit a heavier rod a bit better!
Will the new certate lt be released this year?
How do you rate the Wakasagi spike 44 MR?
Good colour in the range, Best application for that colour is when it is more of an overcast day and when the water clarity is on the murkier side.
@@DaiwaAustralia Thanks Tom, Ive only just starting using the spike, love its action and seems easy to use
Its up there with my double clutch collection rating wise
Thanks for the quick reply
