I am running Zabbix on a RPI. There does seem to be a pyzabbix file. The find command does not return anything. 😞
it works like a charm. Thanks Demirty
Perfect! :)
There is a nice addon that allows us to edit HA yaml files via frontend, called File editor.
If we edit the files specified in the path as in the video, after reboot they will be replaced from the container image, to avoid this we need to link the path in the docker compose file to the host machine folder, right? I might be wrong.
I believe you are right. When working with containers usually it's not a correct thing to modify things right in a container. I do that only for simplicity, and in general, I just show what you need to do. "How", that depends on how things are set up
How do you configure and monitor fewer ports on your switch using snmp. For example you want to monitor 4 port where critical devices are connected on your 24 port switch.

@@DmitryLambert can you show us in a video. I am new to zabbix
It would be great if you could show a way to send notifications from Zabbix into home assistant
Probably best would be to do that through HA rest api. It would require writing small script/webhook for Zabbix. I will look into this when I will have some free time.
Can you get in touch with me via Linkedin/email or whatever? I could use some info about HA part
Unfortunately, with the HAOS installation, I can't edit the python file. There is no python folder.
If you are running homeassistant OS, the one with this ha> commandline when directly connected with screen, You need use "login" command to get internal shell. (there is no bash, so only sh avalible).
From there you will be able to access said file.
Any terminal/console in the web UI only has access to docker container ha is running in.
