You should wait at least 6 months.

How long is recuperation after?
For a tummy tuck, most people take 1 week off from work if they have a desk job and 2 weeks off if they are more active or on their feet all day, etc. No working out (spikes in heart rate or blood pressure) for the first 2 weeks and then you can begin to gradually add exercise back in as tolerated. At 6 weeks we consider you restriction-free.

The gym is not going to fix excess skin and stretched abdominal muscles after pregnancy.
