Is worth to buy Oculus Rift for SimRacing ? I have recently had a big mess in my head, buy or not...
Once you have played a sim racer in VR there is no going back to screen(s), so yes, definitely worth it.
but how is the quality when u have the oculus rift on ur head, does it really look like reallife, or close to reallife, or is it not that real
Robin Balentina well, as every simracer knows (or atleast should know) its not about graphics, its all about physics
Its never going to look the same as a 4k monitor, especially when an inch or so from your face, but its far more realistic than a monitor for immersion. To me (and most others) game play and immersion is FAR better than graphics. With VR you actually 'feel' as though you are IN the car and not watching it on a screen 2 foot away.
I think I'll make a gift for Christmas for myself and I'll buy Rift. Thank you for all the responses.

Ich habe heute deinen Transfagarasan-Server entdeckt :) Gibt es da irgendetwas zu beachten? Darf man hoch und runter fahren? Werden Aufnahmen gemacht?
Hey :) Wir hatten den Server nur so am Laufen um etwas zu fahren. Aber bald wird mal wieder etwas zusammen gefahren - und auch aufgenommen ... am besten joinst du seine Steam-Gruppe (siehe Beschreibung) und/oder seine Facebook-Gruppe, um auf dem Laufenden zu bleiben. :) facebook.com/groups/384963391868437/
Übrigens, auf der Transfagarasan kann man nur auf der Downhill-Variante in beide Richtungen fahren. Um das auch auf der Uphill-Version zu aktivieren, musst du einfach in dem AI-Ordner der Strecke die Datei der AI-Linie löschen. Dann darfst du auch gerne auf Kajot-Server in beide Richtungen fahren - sofern du auf deiner Straßenseite bleibst :D
