Ryan and John Bergum | Leaders in Action

Ryan and John Burgum, twins from Detroit Lakes Minnesota, came to UND with the intention to carve their own paths in college, but a similar passion for civil engineering lead them to working together to help build and design this year's entry for the American Society of Civil Engineering steel bridge competition.
Founded in 1883, six years before the state itself was established, the University of North Dakota is a busy 521-acre campus, the state’s largest.
