    Just recently got into home improvements after buying my first house. Picked up the dewalt miter saw 2 months ago. Then on Black Friday got the Flexvolt Hammer drill + impact driver, circ saw and the multi tool as a kit. And recently picked up the jigsaw. Dewalt is addicting.

    Great set. I never had any problems with my dewalt tools. In fact I have to sell them after one years work, in order to buy new ones. They still hold there value. Just got a miter saw cordless 👍

    Good start .. DeWalt is for framers/Carpenters/ construction...some good tools there...looks like the 777 drill and 885 impact...I'd get the 792 and 888 much better, also the 577 rear handle saw is the best, love DeWalt precision nailers I see,use silicone on the tracks and clean them...the cordless tablesaw is awesome also...if you do a lot of concrete drilling the sds plus is amazing...love the cordless compressor, the 200 psi trim compressor is awesome also... recently got the new cordless barrel grip jigsaw, orbital sander and router ....

    • @toolman101476
      @toolman101476  6 лет назад

      Joe Framer I’m looking forward to the cordless router as well as the barrel grip jigsaw. You have the jigsaw already?? I haven’t seen it to buy online yet where l am. My next purchase will most likely be the flexvolt mitersaw that doesn’t slide. I’m looking for something a bit lighter to haul around

    Hey buddy I will tell you the next best addition you need . The powerstation not only can you use it as a charger for 4 batteries you will automatically have a battery powered saw stop table saw . I run my Makita mitre saw and my table saw off mine on a power strip you just can't run them both at the same time . I didn't think I would get as much use from it but I absolutely wouldn't want to not have it now.nice collection also

    • @toolman101476

      Phillip Mccarter hey man! I do have one for the soul purpose of running my sawstop job site saw. However it want turn it on for some reason. It will light up but it flashes and want turn green. I called Sawstop but they needed my serial number and l didn’t have it at that time so I never called back.
      I do like the power station. We lost power with the snow and l was able to power my fridge with it. It’s alittle heavy l felt for daily charging. I found myself opting to not get it out unless l had to. So l purchased the new fast charger that does 4 at once. Much lighter and takes up alittle less space. Now the power station is just there when l need it but it is awesome when the time comes

      I do alot of exterior painting and use alot of boom lifts I throw it in the bucket with me and use it to power my spray machine so it let's me be able to drive the lift around without having to go down Everytime to unplug the cord saves a ton of time . Also I take my fan with me to my kids football games and set up my canopy on hott summer days makes people jealous !!

      toolman101476 the power station won’t work my Festool sys vac either. My electrician explained it to me. Something with fluctuation in voltage. I’m sure the SawStop is the same situation. I was bummed. I still use the Power Station on other applications.

    Nice kit 👌 I have some of the similar tools and what you need to do is invest in some tough boxes they just came out with the tough system 2.0 that would be an excellent addition as for the miter saws I can justify having a 12 inch miter saw and a 7 1/4 but not for 5 12 inch miter sawsbut I do have to say that flexvolt miter saw is the best hands down absolutely love the one that I have when I first bought it felt like I caught a unicorn that had wings!!!😎😎😎😂😂😂😂😂

    Hey buddy ,how much run time do you get with your Flexvolt circular saw ? Thanks.

    • @toolman101476
      @toolman101476  5 лет назад

      interman 77 me and the flexvolt saw try to make as much time together as possible. As with anyone with multiple skillsaws jealousy is always an issue. So l take turns... some days I’ll use flexvolt to cut some 4x4s then other days I’ll use the 20 volt but when l do.....I’m always wishing l was using the flexvolt. I feel as if this did not answer your question.....
      So l don’t do a lot of framing. I’m a trim carpenter. So most days it’s just a couple of cuts and that’s it. As for power.... that l can speak on. I did replace the corded saw with the flexvolt.
      If your doing a deck a couple batteries would last most if not all day.

    • @interman7715
      @interman7715 5 лет назад

      Eric Nichols I heard it will cut over 300 2x4s on a charge according to Dewalt ,which if true seems pretty good ,just thought I would ask someone with experience like yourself, thanks for the reply .

    • @toolman101476
      @toolman101476  6 лет назад

      Tin Man l bought the power station and it charges 4 batteries at once. Is that what your talking about? Ive have heard of another charger that was just a charger for 4 batteries and not a charger/generator, but l didnt know it was out

    • @toolman101476
      @toolman101476  6 лет назад

      Man l have no idea lol. Over the years l have no doubt lve spent upwards of 20k maybe more. Right now presently probably 10k in what l have in just Dewalt. My typical set up is the flexvolt mitersaw, dewalt stand with fastcap best fence attached that. That all is right at 2000 just in the saw system.

  • @abubekerashref188
    @abubekerashref188 4 года назад

    how much did you spent for this all

    • @toolman101476
      @toolman101476  4 года назад

      abubeker ashref I have no idea. I’ve been buying and selling tools for over 20 years. The video was 2 years ago and since then I have a lot more and have sold some and upgraded them. What I tend to do is buy a tool, use it till a better version is available then sell it to some of my guys so they can have nicer tools.
      On average I’ll spend somewhere in the 5k to 10k a year on new tools.

    nice collection a lot of dust on them though, look like my tools I usually clean them with wd-40. I don't see screwgun or flashlights in your collection lol. I wish they would make a brighter flashlight than 160 or 110 lumens for the 20 volt, the big flood light is heavy and stupid to carry around. Their cordless vacuum is also a waste of money to buy.

    • @toolman101476
      @toolman101476  6 лет назад

      Homepros NYC l collect tools and dust... l just got the new tripod worklight from Dewalt. That thing is really nice and sturdy. I care nothing about the small lights they make. As for screwguns.. l have 5 impact guns and a couple chuck drills.
      I've never tried to use wd40 to wipe anything down before but l will give that a shot. I dont clean clean the tools up alot just because the very next day....more dust.

Black and decker were known to be inferior quality tools back in the day! Unfortunately uneducated people still think that because dewalt are associated with b&d dewalts gonna be just as rubbish . All tool brands have good and bad tools but for me dewalts never let me down .

    • @toolman101476
      @toolman101476  6 лет назад

      Ray Fox what are talking about? You have to explain that one man. Back in the day l would agree but with these new type batteries they work great. Only thing that does last all day is the mitersaw. Have you used the flex volt yet?

    • @jeffgibons1540
      @jeffgibons1540 6 лет назад

      Fed up of charging them and when they are done new ones cost a fortune - just a rip off

    • @toolman101476
      @toolman101476  6 лет назад

      Charging can be a pain. What I’ve done was buy the 4 port charger. Usually lm trimming houses and I’m there most of the day. So I’ll be swapping out batteries all day while I’m working...end of the day all my batteries are charged. Granted l have a lot of tools with a lot of batteries so it’s l can go a few days without running into a battery problem. The cost is allitte aggregating . It’s almost cheaper to just buy a tool that comes with the batteries.
      I just had a 60volt go bad and l feel like for the price it shouldn’t ever go bad lol...ever. It was under warranty so it’s getting replaced.
