Today my 9th copy of Tribe Infecting and my 4th of Abyss Soldier came thru mail. It means I am with 9 decks fully made so I can lend to friends and organize my goat champs for up to 9-10 people currently. I have been building decks since pandemics when I started following the channel. The same goes for Edison and Vegas/HAT. Retro YGO is wonderful. Congrats Alva! @MacDaddySnuggles Exodia is soooo cringe. Bad memories of when the game wasn't respected as it is now and a thing like Exodia -- that is not even remotely competitively viable -- gets taken as part of a game in where it has no place. I am sorry to disappoint you but DM YGO, albeit the entrance door for the game, ended up doing more harm than good for the TCG. Goat is about playing optimal, not playing "favourite" cards or Exodia. I hope I have illustrated how cringe is nonygo players to know this beautiful game for a thing it is not.

I went back to playing goat a couple years back because of this website...i could only do it as a hobby though, so i grinded the online ldder and topped out at 19th place. My friends asked how i made so much progress so fast and its exactly what alvarado said in the beginning. law of big numbers, peace of mind, and dredging through the lows and playing the odds.

GOAT to me is my 3rd favorite format only being beaten by what got me to play yugioh shaddol BA format and TOSS because i love thunder dragons. GOAT is always about mitigating luck
