Although outnumbered 12 to 1, the Japanese 18th Division captured with minimal losses 120,000 British & Commonwealth soldiers during the Battle of Singapore (February 1942). But with tens of thousands of American fighters & bombers roaming the North African & Italian skies & supplied with tens of thousands of US tanks & millions of artillery shells, ofcourse the British & Commwealth soldiers can fight & win, even American soldiers can fight & win with all that ordnance.
