The Bersaglieri also defeated the Desert Rats when the demoralized Australian 9th Division, suffering from at least 1,000 cases of self-inflicted wounds and battle shock abandoned Tobruk during August, September and October 1941.(DEMORALIZED AUSTRALIANS ABANDON TOBRUK, available on youtube)

Carlo Dinechi: Another GREAT VIDEO! - 6,000 Allied prisoners! If my American ancestors hadn't ILLEGALLY supplied the English with tanks and other weapons; Italy would have continued to kick 'Allied' ass and ended up conquering all of North Africa!

Bruh, the amount of unhistorical and unfactual statements in this is blasphemy even to an Italian like me.

The British, Australian & New Zealanders believe their soldiers were the best & laugh at the French & Italians, but a year before Operation Compass & before the Germans marched through Paris (June 1940), 100,000 British surrendered after firing their ammunition in the air during the Battle of France (May 1940). Although outnumbered 12 to 1, the Japanese 18th Division captured with minimal losses 120,000 British & Commonwealth soldiers during the Battle of Singapore (February 1942). But with tens of thousands of American fighters & bombers roaming the North African & Italian skies & supplied with tens of thousands of US tanks & millions of artillery shells, ofcourse the British & Commwealth soldiers can fight & win, even American soldiers can fight & win with all that ordnance.

Pablo Nero: I agree with you comment, although there was no need to insult American soldiers. You did the very thing that you complained about "the British, Australian & New Zealanders" doing.

Don't let the facts get in the way of a good story, eh? In terms of prisoners and missing, British losses in the Battle of France were approximately 41,300.

The Japanese used three divisions to capture Singapore, not just one as you state. British and Commonwealth prisoners numbered nearly 85,000 at Singapore, and about 130,000 for the whole campaign in Malaya and Singapore.

I find the Italians at their best are the best sustainable peace time (non-recession/depression) military model.
