  • After driving my 2019 mustang gt for a little over 40k kilometres the coolant tank was starting to yellow. Here is the install of the new and improved Mishimoto coolant tank made of aluminum to make under the hood of our mustang gt pop even more than it already does. #mustang #s550 #mishimoto

    That looks really good! I need one too! Mishimoto has a lot of great products. I almost bought a radiator from them after my 16 GT was totaled since the Ford PP ones were ridiculously expensive, but I was able to get the radiator repaired. It's great that they have a lifetime warranty, even for accident damage. Great upgrade!

      Yeah the good companies are hard to find these days. I'm happy with the look and quality for sure.

    I finally got around to watching this. I've always been a little hesitant to do this. No real reason and I'm not sure why, but I think that looks pretty good. Definitely better than stock. So, I think that'll now be on my "to do" list.

    Very similar to the Steeda tank I put on mine a couple years back. I haven’t seen an aftermarket unit yet that didn’t blow the stocker into the weeds in the looks department. Ford’s attempt is godawful UGLY lol 😂
    Anyway, glad to see the continued progress on your ride !

    But if it takes an hour how long does it take to film lol

    wait so did you just pour it into the bucket? why are directions mentioning to siphon out the coolant?

    Did you had to start the engine without the pressure cap, to see if you had any air lock in the system or not.👍💪👏

    • @CanadianCruisin
      @CanadianCruisin  2 года назад

      No the cap is able to release any air that might have gone in the system

      @@CanadianCruisin I’m in the market for a Mustang so been watching your stuff all evening! One more thing, do you know if the Performance Pack has a different factory tune than the standard GT? Any HP increase?

    • @CanadianCruisin
      @CanadianCruisin  2 года назад +1

      @@kenossowicz1280 no horsepower or tune differences. There is just some suspension upgrades, the pp1 wheels, brembos and gearing. And then the cosmetic stuff like the wing and extra gauges in the car.

    Do you have to bleed the coolent after install?

  • @kuksgarage2715
    @kuksgarage2715 Год назад

    not smart to put it over flow hose there. Especially for boosted app. Why because if you do race, and it leaks which mine did thats why im not using that coolant tank and going back to stock cause it did way better, the water will go under your tires causing you to possibly crash.

    Too many hoses on new cars lol, my 04 barely has any besides the two huge ones from the radiator and the spark plug wires, but like they say, the more you want on the car, more stuff will be added to accommodate the necessity

    • @CanadianCruisin
      @CanadianCruisin  2 года назад

      Cars are 90% hoses and 10%wires nowadays haha
