"There's a forgotten dream..." "Was it a dream I can't remember or a dream I won't remember?" "Have I forgotten the dream or has the dream forgotten me?" "But surely, there was a dream..."
This...gave me chills as this was a litteral part of my chidhood along with Spyro, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, Pokemon, and Legend of Zelda. Klonoa and Spyro I held them quite dear, as I as a kid used to when I couldnt sleep put on Klonoa and go to the level Untamed Heart played or in Spyro 1 to Dark Hollow and allow it to help me slowly fall asleep. Klonoa while I never managed to 100% complete it was a story I loved to the end, its gameplay and soundtrack being what entertained me for hours on end, it saddens me that Klonoa after awhile fell into obscurity, it was a great game but I can also see how some might see its style as a bit out there...but I loved every second of it till the end of the copy I had.
Door to Phantomile and Kingdom Hearts 1 are both very similar in terms of the main character and what happens to him. And on top of that they both have great opening lines. "Isn't it strange? How sometimes you wake up, and know you had a dream, but can't remember it?" "I've been having these weird thoughts lately, like, is any of this for real? Or not?" Both characters also wore a lot of red in their first appearance.
I know, it makes me so sad that such a beautiful and wonderful game disappeared the way it did. I'm really hoping somehow more people could somehow find it and bring in a resurgence of more people to get into it. It's such a special game Yeah! All those games are just so extremely special, especially Spyro I might make a remix from him sometime too because has also has a warm place in my heart
@@starrikoworks Well while its just a rumor I think, but there has been word getting out about a sort of trademark Bandai Namco has put in, and it might be a bit of good news regarding Klonoa as a whole. You see, the trademark is "Klonoa of the Wind Encore" and while yes just a rumor I am pretty sure it still gives me a bit of hope.
Is this... a dream? Klonoa will probably be my favorite video game series til I die. It is a good game, and I have a lot of good memories connected to the series. I should hook up my PS2 and play 2 again.
@@starrikoworks indeed it did! I really loved the story of the King of Sorrow. He’s just someone who got pushed away from the world one time, and then decided to seal himself off since nobody wanted him.
