Me too!! I thought maybe their Costco was a much older Costco than mine, and the rats had become a problem. I played a whole scenario in my mind of the rats "looming" from the rafters, peering down at the shoppers 😅. So glad they cleared that up for me!!

"All butter" means the cookie was made with all real butter not butter blended with shortening or margarine.

Fun Fact: Costco food court cookies are made by the bakery! The food court just warms them in the pizza oven.
Fun Fact #2: The people who give samples are not Costco employees, they are employees of a company called CDS (Club Demonstrative Services). They are there purely to promote the products they are demonstrating and to accelerate sales on key products.
Fun Fact #3: The Costco Food Court Hot Dog has been $1.50 since it was introduced, despite inflation rising all prices. All the main hot dog producers started rising their prices, so Costco made their own factory to create their own dedicated hot dogs. The same story happened with rotisserie chicken. Chicken prices went up, so Costco established their own chicken farms to produce their own rotisserie chickens at the lowest price.

My favorite things (and most often bought things) at costco are almost all in the back of the store - fresh fruit and veg, their bakery bread (so so good), and their rotisserie chicken

This episode is close to my heart. I’ve worked at Costco for 17 years. I might be the only person that doesn’t like our hotdogs! They are a great deal though! I wish we had cookies at the food court, we only have ice cream and sundaes.
My Costco has polish sausages as well! They are a nice break from the beef dogs.

when the costco in my hometown was built, it was the biggest one in Canada - fast forward 30 years or so, and it's probably now one of the smaller ones!
I live in salt lake and this costco is massive but it's always packed! I go to any other one but the salt lake one has soo much more variety than any other.

I love Costco. I buy anything I can there. My cupboards are overflowing at all times. You swear I had food insecurity as a kid, because if my pantry and cupboards are stuffed I feel anxious.
You have a buch of individual drinks in disposable containers but paper towels are bad ?
11:20 and medication. Federal law makes it where you have to make any pharmacy available to anybody during business hours. And the alcohol has a separate entrance in those states.
Here in Denmark, for what amounts to a dollar more, you can get 2 cookies of that size. Only drawback is it's not warmed.

I work at the Costco in West Little Rock, Arkansas! :) I tried the churro one time before we replaced it with the cookie, and it wasn’t good at all. 😢 I even tried to dip it in our vanilla ice cream but it didn’t help ❤ I love the pizza and the fruit smoothie though!

In Canada the costco liquor store is a separate store, usually across the parking lot and yeah you don't need a membership. At least in the provinces I've lived in.

Maldon is a British sea salt brand. It's good stuff - not the most premium of all salts, that's stuff like fleur de sel or Korean bamboo salt - but it's a cut above, say, Diamond or Morton's everyday kosher salt. It's about on par with Himalayan pink salt, in terms of depth of flavor.

Plenty of non "bulk" at Costco in the way most folks think. Like a 5 gallon jar of Mayonnaise.
That said, Costco also often isnt the great deal you think it is. Much of the non food stuff is just barely cheaper other than the bulk TP and PT etc.

I tried the fresh hot cookie last week. As a churro lover, I am can still say that the cookie was amazing. It was amazing at the food court. Three hours later, it was not as good. Not even close. Eaten at Costco, it was amazing.
