I love the way you teach so inclusively. Use what you have. Everyone makes things they aren’t happy with sometimes. Mistakes are ok. I don’t come here for fancy, I come here for something I might be able to actually have the confidence to try, even though I won’t downplay the fact that you do still wow me with your skill and talent!
Oh man I have to stop watching all these great videos. I want to do too much! Lol. I really am liking these cards. I made one for my sister's birthday and she cried for an hour then framed the darn thing!
Love your tutorials and mistakes are good because they do enhance learning. If I make mistakes, I stick the project in my journal and make a few notes and looking back through journal....mistakes don't look so bad!
Today is my birthday and I can't think off a better way too spend it than learning from the best. TY Lindsey. That is after all the gifts have been collected. lol
I really love this style of video so much where it’s like you’re just speaking to me and being your funny self and you explain everything in the simplest terms and you’re not afraid to show us your mistakes. Thank you for not doing another voiceover! Love the cards you made as always! Any plans for art journals or scrapbook layouts soon?
Cute card. I love the colors. I want to start making some cards. Thanks for all your videos. They really have helped me. Especially your videos on watercolors. You are extremely talented & creative and you've been an inspiration to me since I first found your channel. 😊
Love this card it came out beautiful and I'm glad I ordered the stamps you designed! And also I see the video for tomorrow I'm so excited you decided to do another lollipops thank you thank you thank you!!!! You are the best at life!!!
I’ve been doing a lot more writing in my videos lately, and am sort of horrified at my lack of variety/beauty in my handwriting, so this is super well-timed advice! Even just adding that second layer of ink, the black, made it so much more interesting. I really appreciate that most of your advice is framed in a way that’s approachable and possible from our end! Thank you. =^.^=
Hey Lindsay...you always pick out the most beautiful colors to use on your projects! This is most challenging for me. I think I get confused about tones (adding grays), tints (adding whites) & shades (blacks). When you create a project, is it better to pick colors that are the same tones (I don't know if I'm explaining myself properly)? Example, would you do a complete card in pastel shades? Thanks for sharing Lindsay!
Hello Lindsay, I have couple of questions, 1. Have you used up all the foam squares from that 3D puzzle? The last video I saw you use them on was January or February 23rd of this year. Just curious how long they lasted. I wish I could find one of those puzzles, I can't seem to find any descent, inexpensive foam squares anywhere. 2. How best to store single ended markers and brush pens? Thanks so much. Sincerely Becky B from Arkansas
Supposedly the best way to store markers is on their side, that way the liquid has a chance to keep the tip moist. Someone gave me a set of 36 Marvy markers 20 or 30 years ago, which came in a fancy tin. Never opened it until yesterday and they all worked perfectly. Anyway, as long as the marker is refillable then it's not as important how they are stored, they do look pretty sitting on a desk in a coffee cup! As for the foam... I guess you don't mean those foam craft sheets (originally marketed for kids) at Walmart? You can buy single sheets, or packs of various sizes. Or do you mean make-up sponges? Those would either be Walmart or better yet the dollar store if you're lucky (I'm never lucky).
Jasper Martin I meant adhesive foam squares like Lindsay uses to raise up her embellishments. I have both the other foam things you mentioned and yes just last week I got makeup wedges at Dollar tree. Most (but not all) of my markers are Crayola or generic ones from some type of dollar store and single ended brush tip ones are by the Paper Studio (a Hobby lobby brand). I only own 2 small sets on prismacolor alcohol markers that I got years ago after watching Chip Foose drawing on the show Overhaulin', actually my son was watching the show. Anyway, thanks for answering anyhow.
Becky, I think I have a lifetime supply of foam squares, I swear them breed LOL! as for single ended markers if they are the water brush type with liquid ink (like JD mermail markers) I store them tip up so they don't leak. All others I store on their side.
ohmy, I didn't even know there was such a thing as embellishment foam! But now that you mention it, does sound like a good idea for making embellishments look even nicer, so thank you for that!
Hey Lindsay, wow - I wish I had foam squares that multiplied like rabbits, LOL. I'll find some someday. I told Jasper Martin (above comment) what kind of markers I have most of. And the majority are off brands, I have to generally shop at Dollar stores or wherever I can find the best deal for what amount of money I have to work with. I have alot of The Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby brand) stuff, most of with 40% off coupon or 50% off sales. Anyway, I know you are super busy, but enjoy (kind of) chatting with you. I'd love to have a neighbor like you, I'd be inspired and happy all the time. Thanks for being real and honest. God bless. Sincerely Becky B from Arkansas
I have bought Gum Arabic, Granulation medium and odourless mineral spirit ....I watch too many RUclips techniques! Could you do a video on using these ?
Oh my!!! Succulents!! I just recently found you(didnt know you were lost did you?). I had no idea that you did design work. So..2 questions. As a long time stamper/altered artist where do I get that set? Would you consider designing a Maine Coon set? Ha ha. I know there are 100's of cat stamps out there. Cute. Short haired. Long haired balls of mess. I have long awaited an artist to put my Maine Coons on rubber. The stamps that I have found saying they are Coons dont look anything like a Maine Coon. Love the wreath!! Can't wait to get the stamps!!
I have to keep watching and watching. You make it look so effortlessly. I love your work!

Love it Lindsay. I have never been confident enough to hand write the greeting but now I'm dying to do it. Thank you so much.
I really like the colouring on the card but I have to admit I loved it just black and white with that dotey little border. Gorgeous both ways. Tfs.

go for balance for the most part and color the foal pint to contrast a bit.
Gotcha...thx Lindsay
Great video Lindsay! 😁
