Those coming on the Health and Care visa route will be exempted from the increase to the salary threshold for Skilled Worker visas, so we can continue to bring the healthcare workers that our care sector and NHS need, and we will exempt those on national pay scales, for example teachers.

  • @ghildiyal60

No need to worry for students switching from student or graduate visa to skilled worker visa because these people wont considered as new entrant for uk market and this rule of 38k threshold is applicable for new entrants. So just relax and read thr home office guidance rather thn relying on information from the youtubers

How does that make any sense? You will find RUclipsrs in any country abroad. But how many countries have taken such measures? The situation is different for every country. People decide to come to a country because of its immigration policy, and also decide not to come because of its immigration policy.
When PSW was closed in 2011 due to increased immigration, was that because of RUclipsrs? At that time, Indians vloggers weren't a thing.
With your logic, RUclipsrs shouldn't make videos, study abroad consultants shouldn't promote the UK, newspaper should not inform people if UK is an ideal destination to live and study abroad, and so on.
It doesn't work like that. Whenever countries like UK loosens its immigration rules, in a few years rules are bound to change because of huge inflow of people.
The same is happening in Germany, its immigration rules are now opening up. But after a few years they may restrict their rules again. But does that mean that will happen because a lot of RUclipsrs are saying nice things about Germany? I don't think so.

    • @Obelix5658
      @Obelix5658 8 месяцев назад

That is an illogical comment. This sort of visa restrictions happened in every developed country. They may open up after a decade and then close the window. It is to safe guard that countries interest.
Sit back home and do some thing to improve your countries financial and social condition, so that you need not depend on some other countries whims and fancies.

What a illogical comment. Just because of these youtubers you are getting updates while sitting at your home.
Government needed funds and they got it. And it was individual’s decision to either go for UK or not. So you just can’t blame any youtubers.
Never ever blame youtubers… they are the ones who follow immigration rules in UK.
Non educated blind fans who just don’t pay taxes and earn money in cash are the reasons.

I understand that you are looking for concrete answer. There were speculations previously about stopping graduate visa but that didn't happen. Now they are reviewing it again. The current measures taken won't help the government reach their net immigration goal, therefore some action on PSW is anticipated. For instance, they might reduce its length, restrict to some universities, restrict it to STEM courses, or stop it permanently.
All these options are available to them, but I can't say what they will do actually and when. Because no official announcement has been made in this regard.

The uni that you go to and pay far too much for are the worst in the uk.
They are the ones that were meant to close but the government said we will overcharge immigrants and keep them open. It's actually made british peoples fees go up by 4000 over the years. You need to go somewhere else unless you have some proper money to keep you here without taking our jobs. 20% less you get paid we can't even get care work they won't even raise the national minimum wage inline with inflation. The government is panicking because they know we are voting them out. Please don't come we don't want you here

Hi Guys anyone reading my comments and I will make the comments only for tech, engineering and finance people. Please sun lena.
The government has effectively cut down any opportunity for students with less than 4-5 years of experience to get a job even with PSW.
I was the second batch for PSWs and one thing sure. Students with 0-3 years of experience find it impossible to find a job here( graduate route gives priority to local students ). And if students find a job as well.. salary ranges from 26k to 33k max. Now govt has cut that.
If you have solid coding, analyst or Data science experience for atleast 4-5 years, then you can try or else please don’t waste your money.
Finding a visa sponsorship is also very tough and not it will be tougher. Plus they are sending a clear signal to companies.. hire British Talent first.
And Please do not go to Canada either. International students have become a cash cow for these countries. Hopefully this helps.🙏
