She was taken aback when Woojin said something about trauma on domestic violence. Maybe this has something to do with her family? She has mentioned that her father and siblings are all doctors and her mom is just an ordinary housewife. She seems to be extremely worried and concern for her mom whom she always talk to when she's on her free time.
And maybe it connects with how she's so ambitious about being doctor for her mother's sake!
I'm not sure if at this point in the drama if she knew about wojins loan sharks but I think that's what she was thinking of and how she couldn't protect him

exactly!! i also noticed that while watching it and i was honestly hoping that they would expand upon her trauma, and address it like they did with seo woojin's trauma (related to familial suicide), but they didn't. i was a bit disappointed 😔

@@linadecrava895 That's possible too. In my eyes, she exudes every Hufflepuff trait to the max somehow. She became a doctor not because she was keen to acquire knowledge but because she had an emotional reason to satisfy. And her method has constantly been working extra hard as compared to banking on her skills. She is constantly pointed out to be loyal to her core and even risks her own wellbeing at times to stand by that. He seems a LOT like a Slytherin because of his clarity in priorities. Yes he is outspoken but he is also not going to meddle in things he doesn't see as things he needs to (the domestic violence situation). Realistic about people and wanting an equal distribution of effort in a relationship, he is ambitious alongside being principled. He also doesn't tolerate threats or slights against him but is smart in exposing them like he does with that Dr Yang and the coffee. Idk, they seemed a lot like a Hufflepuff and Slytherin (outside the extreme stereotype that comes with the houses) 😄

@@xtaticpearl2364 After seeing your comment, it just kinda hit me that kang dong joo looks alot like gryffindor and yoon seo jung is ravenclaw. I mean, gryffindor traits are courage, recklesness, and chivalry. We've seen him fighting with kim sabu even though kim sabu alot more senior than him. He always do what he thinks the best but sometime its not the best for everyone around him. And even though they fight a lot, he still respect him and learn from him alot.
Meanwhile, ravenclaw traits are intelligence, wisdom, logical. We've seen her in her worst state and it doesnt make her stop trying to get up. Instead, she learned and learned from the best to become the best. She is the logical person behind kang dong joo that always make the "trouble" to behave. Also she is very responsible to her job. I don't know though if you will think this will be a match. This is just my thinking

I think the reason she hesitated on that part of domestic violence trauma is because she experiences it herself. Remember when Ah Reum said Doctor Oh-the professor instructs her in Geodae also priotize male doctor over female doctor and she had to fight it all, which makes Ah Reum admire her. Also she was told by Mr Park that he prefer male doctor because he didnt have to worry about female doctor’s leave for marriage or pregnancy. She was threatened to be fired because that such reason. Also she has been bullied by Dr. Yang partly because she IS a woman. So I think that it is logical for her to stand up for that woman because she feels sympathy to her.

Here we have mr i-don't-give-a-fuck-about-other-people-business seo woojin berating and fussing over cha eun jae and kim sabu absolutely noticed! Come to think of it, woo jin had never shied away of showing that he cares a great deal about cha eun jae in front of other people (more likely that he simply didn't give a fuck about others' opinion though)

Its not like he cover his upper body, but as a surgeon their hands and elbow is important to perform a good surgery. So, he just try to protect his arm i guess.
