Biggest difference is that plus is a subscription model so one prince gives you access to thousands of songs and 2014 was a dlc model so each songs was bought and downloaded. I used to play 2014 but that ended so plus is the new live service and they are adding songs each week almost. It’s a lot of fun both were but 2014 ended

Yeah it’s a real Bass plugged using a special cable to usb. The note pattern takes time to get used to but it’s like tablature
