Driver from 7042 here-- being on your alliance was a dream come true. Thank you so much for picking us. Your robot is incredible and everyone on your team is just wonderful to be around. Could not have asked for a better alliance. Hoping to be in the same division with you in Houston!
Goated robot, but i have one question. I hear your falcon make the stalling sound when you have a game piece in the robot and I’m wondering if that is bad for the robot. My teams coders say it is terrible but if I could get a second opinion that would be cool
All of our rmotors are current limited. Our intake is stalled to a low amount of current to keep the game piece in; for the amount of time it is + the low current, this is fine
@@jeffreytran7410 thanks for the response! Follow up question, I showed them this video and they responded “it’s fine if you only want to use the falcon for one season” (they responded before your post). Are you able to use your falcons for more than one season? Or at least suspect there isn’t very much permanent damage?
@@JayPatel-it6nd this isn’t really bad for the motors since they are stalling it with such low power. Our team doesn’t something similar with our intake and we calculated that we can stall our neo 550 for a whole match at the current we are stalling it at before it starts to cause potential burnout to the motor
@@JayPatel-it6nd they don’t know what they’re talking about. Stalling a motor doesn’t damage it at all. Stalling it with a high current for a long time will damage it. Look up falcon 500 locked rotor stall tests

goated??
Absolutely phenomenal robot! Your team just gets better every year! How do you line up so quickly is there any automation or is it all manual?
All manual from our driver with the help of our drive coach :)

@@JayPatel-it6nd Every single falcon on our robot is reused and have been through a minimum of at least one maybe two seasons of use.
